Do not buy mass effect2 if this is the future of gaming we are going to be ripped off. The game goes into video footage every few minutes and you have to talk with aliens its very annoying when all i wqanted to do was blast things. I completed the game easily 1% of the game was good that was when i could use my weapons the other 99% is nerdy boring crap. Please dont buy this game its a classic rip off"

Oh noes, I must talk to someone in a RPG, oh noes i cant blast someone every 2 seconds..

what a crazy ass review..

I've never expected a thief to be Rambo, but this one goes beyond Terminator. Aren't thieves supposed to be stealthy?! Oh, my bad! I've mistaken ME2 with an RPG....

Mass Effect 2 is what Diablo is to Baldur´s Gate, that doens´t mean neither of them are bad. It´s quite obvious Bioware wanted to make an action rpg and they succeded, whether you like it or not it´s a different topic.

Might already be on the server though, _kasumi.exe, _memories.exe or something.
(Then again the vehicle wasn't called _Hammerhead.exe but Firestorm.exe as part of the mission name so it might have some obscure title.)

Wrong! the missions where called Firestorm and the vehicle whas called Hammerhead....also the file name whas called ME2_Hammerhead.exe Rolling Eyes.

About the file on server......they upload on the day when it gets released.....i already tested that with hammerhead.

Anyone know what Kasumi's extra power is and what it does?

edit: found it, she supposed to be able to turn invisible, but the bonus power you can get is flash grenades

Its taken me a while, but a few (200 maybe? Very Happy) pages back i said i was gonna give mass effect a shot. i tried it way back when it first came out, but i was new to rpgs (id played a few jap ones at a friends recommendation, so naturally i thought i hated ALL rpgs - after i played The Witcher, that all changed..)

So yeah, tried it, but didnt have the patience to stick with it. Now that I'm willing to give more rpgs a chance (western that is - jap ones can all go fuck themselves), and after the epic'ness of me2, i decided to stick it out and finish mass effect.

Which i did about 2 minutes ago.

Holy fucking shit that was amazing. One of the best games I've ever played, definately a tie between it and Witcher, the story in this (in some places obviously very similar to b5) is stunning, and the characters were amazing. This is what a game should be. Sure there were some problems (few of them were fixed in the sequel) but wow... just wow, im still stunned. ME2 kinda suffers from middle child disorder, where its story understandably isnt as epic as the first and (i expect) the last (like what happened with two towers), but yeah... wow... thats what I love about gaming...this is WHY i game...for experiences like this... it was a fucking amazing game, and i almost missed it.

... and now I cant wait to continue my Shepard in ME2 and finish that game for a THIRD time Very Happy

Wow... just wow... fucking wow.

...wow.

Glad to hear you were able to enjoy ME1 after ME2 Smile
My reaction after I finished it for the first time was the same Laughing But for me I didn't really get into it 100% until that incredible Virmire mission. I was enjoying it but kind of thought it was "just okay" until then. Shit really hit the fan on that planet and I was totally hooked after that.

Also the first game did had a much better overall story telling. I still think ME2 really suffered from not having a "direct" antagonist like Saren or somebody more accessible. But when you look at all the games as a trilogy and not individually, that is to be expected to a point.

name some.

and dont you dare try and suggest that massively overhyped piece of shit final fantasy... (ANY number... they were all massively overhyped and they were all massively SHIT)

and @ jew, yeah it was around that time, when the story really started kicking in, that i could see just how ambitious and how amazing the game was. everything before felt pointless until you kinda understand the scope of it.

inventory system/management can all go fucking straight to hell though. so glad me2 got rid of it.
