Nope, the steam servers don't have the files either, only the client on the Eve site has them. Downloading the whole game again will probably take an entire day with my crummy connection...

baron use repair.exe in eve dir (inside eve steam folder in this case) - it will check for missing files and download it itself

So you quoted what he said in 2006 and laugh at it now? A bit , don't you think?

Eve was released 3 years earlier in 2003.

Yes yes, I know, thrust me but it was kind of pointless laughing now in 2010 at what someone said in 2006, no? After 14 pages of this thread, you'd assume Ronhrim got the message?

bah, if i was subbed id give u the money for your stuff, or you could come mine with me as i got fleet bonuses and you could mine into an orca safe as houses
but alas im playing fallen earth right now cause i like its crafting also hehe..
survey scanners useless, just mine all u see ,, kernite is good and u normaly get a fairly good return on veldspar mining for the standard ship building ore you get from it..
expanded cargos are good for u right now i guess,, but stick with building on working urself to a mining barge and the basic mining turrets for them.. forgotten the name of them already hehe ...
retriever mining barge or the one begining with C but not the one begining with P it blows..

bit of advice dont bother training mining drones they are fuck useless for u at ur skill levels..
just train light drones like hobgolbins etc *one part for ur race be ideal" to take out the pesky rats, the rats are shit in high security areas anyhow and u could prob blow them off with ur breath..
but couple of the fighting drones so u some good for mining alone.. try to send drones out to attack target after the target has engaged you as well, u will find the drones dont die so much as the rats tend to focus fire the first thing they lock onto.. namely you..

yes it will litterally or could take you 7 years + to train everything ... so choose wiseley
your supposed to start off messing about a bit learning then specialise in a couple of areas.. dont try to go too mad and be jack of all trades though,, for instance I have a industrial character that can mine with top skills, haul using big freighters and mining vessels ore carriers.
And the other character/accound I got is pure Fighter, carrier flyer with probe skills..
P.s and no the money wasnt from me as ive not got a sub right now to be able to send you any

If you are going to mine Ice than get a Mackinaw but if you are going to bust rocks than get a Hulk... You'll get a better and faster yields with these ships...
Osprey is ok but better for carrying extra rocks but you can use secure containers for that stuff...

It is a sandbox type mmorpg, so not for people who lack imagination.
If you do find ways to amuse yourself in eve it is likely to be very entertaining, I still find pvp to be an adrenaline rush, just because you stand to lose something you actually worked for and also because you want to kill someone else and not die yourself.
