>Regenerating health for the first time in a SC game
>Can't hide bodies
>No sound meter
>No light meter
>Whistling has been removed
>Only have one suppressed gun (if you didnt order the gay Gamestop preorder)
>No more stalking animation
>On that note, no more sneaking animations at all
>No more knife
>Only one speed of moving while crouching - briskly
>No more interrogating (interrogating is back but only to further the plot in scripted events, no more funny/useful interrogations with random guards that increase immersion)
>No more "codec" conversations with your support team
>Team banter is gone
>Encourages shooting and killing everything (Mark and Execute is the most obvious example of this)
>No more witty, dry humor Sam Fisher complaining about his age
>A lot more "voice actor awkwardly trying to channel Jack Bauer" Sam Fisher
>Lambert is dead before the game starts
>5 hour single player campaign
>One entire mission from the campaign is a flashback to Iraq where the game doesn't allow you to use stealth
>Spy vs. Merc multiplayer completely removed
>Demo released on Xbox Live is essentially the finished product

What do you mean one silenced gun? You can upgrade a dozen guns with silencers. Check out the upgrade system.
Spoiler:
Lamberts death was explained and shown if you play double agent
>Regenerating health for the first time in a SC game (yes is in it)
>Can't hide bodies (its true)
>No sound meter (its replaced by color menu = the louder you are , the more you get this shimmering white glimmer on you, you have to see it to understand)
>No light meter(its replaced by color menu = the more your invisible, the more you see in black and white)
>Whistling has been removed (its now a scripted action)
>Only have one suppressed gun (not true all weapons can be suppressed by upgrading them with skill points that you get for doing stealth kills or specific actions)
>No more stalking animation (not true)
>On that note, no more sneaking animations at all(not ture)
>No more knife (yes its true but new his attacks are more realistic CQC)
>Only one speed of moving while crouching (not true , there are 7 speeds depending on how much pressure you add to the controlling stick, speaking about the xbox360 version here )
>No more interrogating (interrogating is back but only to further the plot in scripted events, no more funny/useful interrogations with random guards that increase immersion)[this is true]

>5 hour single player campaign( its sad but kinda true needed 7h to finish it on Realistic difficulty, on easy it would have been 5h )
>One entire mission from the campaign is a flashback to Iraq where the game doesn't allow you to use stealth (True)
>Spy vs. Merc multiplayer completely removed (its now a CO-op expirence)

That's spot on, I stopped playing after the Iraq mission. Don't know if I will go back to it. Loved this franchise, the first three games just got better. DA was ok but a regression on CT in my mind. This is something else completely, at its heart is a TPS with a cover system. The stealth seems to be for legacy and not the driving game play mechanic like the earlier games. That said I have only played three missions, but that was enough to sour me on the game. On realistic you die fast from gun fire, which is something I suppose.
They really should of let SC die somewhat respectfully after Double Agent. I think this game would be more acceptable if it was something completely new, and didn't carry the weight of the great realistic stealth series it once was. You know, you don't need to slap the old Splinter Cell title on it, we're ready for new franchises ffs.
I loved the old Thief series. I don't think I ever killed a guard playing that game and you could hear just hanging out in the corner. That style of gaming is most likely dead, and I'm not one of those old curmudgeon gamers that denounce anything new... but at least don't spit in the face of what SC's core used to be. Can't hide bodies? Is there even a no-kill option?

I also got some boxes such good memories. Sorry for the pic quality, i really need to buy a new cellphone.

Total coincidence, actually. I just happen to have visited Smart's website and photo galleries before, and I recognized that wall o' games instantly. No detective work involved.
So, it's not that I have too much time on my hands; just too detailed of a memory for random minutiae I've seen on the internet.
