Hey guys, trying to root this g1. I downgraded properly, and can connect via telnet client.
I made sure to format sdcard as FAT32, put files on sdcard root, however, while inside telnet, I cd to sdcard, if I ls, no files are listed.
What do?

yah, that's the guide I was following. I can cd to sdcard but it sees no files on it, even though my pc can see the files just fine. Confirmed a million times that it's FAT32, and the phone read the sd card just fine for the downgrade process.. :/ |

Is the SDcard unmounted .
If you can see it on the PC, then you wont see it via the terminal.

turns out windows 7 is lousy at formatting fat32 or something.. Booted into my xp partition, formatted there, and everything was fine.
