I also found out that melee weapons are overpowered against tanks before I saw that.
Was doing the melee only achievement with friends of mine, and we all ran up to the tank and he was on the ground after hitting just 1 of us.
A tank can't possibly get rid of all 4 before he's dead when you all run at him with melee weapons, preferably from different directions and at the same time. you can't lose.
Try that on Expert.
It's not really a problem on Versus, cause as long as your teammates are keeping atleast 2 busy, melee won't be that much of a threat.
Hey guys, I was enjoying my L4d2 big up until I was dumb enough to install STEAM for another game's sake. Now my l4d2 will crach right after the intro with this message: "Unable to load version from steam.inf"
Anyway that I can desinfect my game from this filthy Steam bullcrap?
Nah, I couldnt remove the subtitles, I didnt find them, plus I think it's funny to see MJ´s face with the "Closed until further notice due to sickness" everytime I start the game.

I will definitely be playing this. L4D2 didn't pull me in like L4D did. Not sure why, maybe the characters? I thought the added Boss infected were good and the weapons were fun. I use to play with my 2 stepsons but they didn't buy L4D2 so that may be it too. Oh well, looking forward to this and very happy that it's free!

The same happened to me too, and I believe it has merely to do with the lesser 'innovative factor' that L4D2 brought compared to its predecessor. On the other hand, it's undisputed that L4D2 managed to improve every single aspect of L4D, but as I said, it wasn't worth the buy, at least for me.
