Looks suprisingly good so far, but I wish games that try to be ralistic would finally stop this hollywoodesque "get hit and fly all over the place" idocy (2:45). A guy stading around and a bullet pierces through his skull? Make him collapse on the spot instead of doing a tripple somersault. Is he running? Keep a bit of momentum in the general direction of movement and make him eat the dirt instead of playing tag with the vegetation.

If lifeless ragdolls were the only issue this game is to have (and hopefully the ragdolls don't just pop out after X seconds), then we can live with that, I think, no? Smile
Personally, I prefer dead bodies which are not physical objects (as in, once a body is dead, you can't kick it around). If there is anything less realistic than bodies which do not interact with the world is weightless bodies which can be kicked around freely (like in Gears of War). Smile

Rolling Eyes when you can kick dead body and it's fly like soccer ball, i do agree that this is not how it should be, but also imo - i hate it when the dead body is solid and you can't move it even a little, i think they must find the golden path between the soccer and the solid.

this last trailers looks cool:) i am not ashame to say that i am looking forward to play this game..maybe even will buy it...not too many sim snipers around.

Right, but giving them weight means more CPU power necessary for computations, and consoles this can be a problem. Razz So between the two ("soccer ball" Laughing and stationary), I'd take the stationary. Smile

Anyone noticed in trailer, that he is carrying 6 granades? Wtf is with that? Why would a sniper carry granades? Does he shoot them out of the rifle? I guess its special addon for rifle that you unlock if you die 100 times in a row...

No clue? or just posting for the hell of it?

6 seems excessive but you wont be hard pressed to find a sniper team carrying at least 2 grenades attached to his kit.. In reality that is..

So basically the game will be structured in this way: Confused (dunno, I'm just trying to do some hypothesis)
- You start as a ghost sniper, if you succeed in sniping all the enemies-->OK, mission accomplished;
- Otherwise, if you miss some shots your cover will blow and you'll forced to play as a normal FPS;

Why would you use smoke nades? To show EXACT position where they are? I mean come on. Thats why they dress in trees...so that they can hide with ease...

I would look like this...oimg someone is shooting at us...where where???...see that white smoke in the forest?...fuckers are hiding in smoke...go get them...

And still, if spotted and a helicopter is sent after them, there might be *some* use for smoke grenades. Still makes more sense than frags. Razz

Dunno...maybe you start as sniper guy...and you gain lvls...so in few maps you become robocop or some other shit...or OR...you get to wield dual sniper rifles with nade launcer addon...rambo style...

We will see when its out...or more gameplay footage is shown.
