that patch is a peice of shit. buggy as all hell, breaks the entire balance with the larva bug, editor is arcane and indecipherable (hehe just like war3). lots of rage on many forums. yay for blizz.

What the fuck is your problem..? I misread your post, made a stupid reply, but in no way I tried to insult or degrade you. For if I am stupid and uneducated what is the need to tell me so, it wouldnt matter anyway hmm? That's exactly the way Starcraft II should be.
When you get so close to perfection it's pretty much impossible to improve even further.
The only thing you can do is just change things to something different that's also close to perfect.
But that's not better, that's just different, and different is not what you should be looking for in a sequel.
There is more than enough innovation in Battle.net 2.0 and the single-player campaign structure.
Plus there's the editor which will eventually supply you with an endless amount of maps where you'll see more gameplay innovation than anywhere else.

Starcraft II will be PERFECT, enough said - it cannot fail, it is impossible.

The more I play it, the more I like SC2. I've been a huge fan of DoW 2 since release, but I've barely even played it since getting in to SC2 beta. No doubt SC2 is hard core as hell, but I love that they have various leagues so that you get matched with people of similar skill. I also like that there is a "random" ladder for 2vs2 and you have separate ladder for each partner(s) you have in 2vs2. I'm sure 3v3 and 4v4 will be the same.
Add in the robust mod and map making support, long single player campaign, even various "training missions", where you learn things such as rushing, rush defense, scouting, fast teching, etc. that help you prepare for multi, not to mention the final version will have full player vs. ai support, this game will likely be GOTY for many people.
Hell, I bet that damn WoW pet will be worth $100 next year on ebay, so I'm even getting ting CE version and will try to sell the pet down the road to fund the next xpac.

Working with Koreans in the gaming industry on a daily basis for over 1 year now, I have to say they're a bunch of hypocritical money-grabbing old boy corrupt inefficient motherfuckers. However, they make cheap games and have a loyal target demographic, which is why we gotta keep working with them. That being said, I wish Blizzard the best of luck dealing with Kespa, but in the end, in all those Asian countries, it usually comes down to who you know and how much money you are willing to toss their way. Blizzard needs to recognize this and play by their system, and not bash their head against the wall of the current system like they are now.
