Now it turned out that there is no emu server for splinter cell specially.The game doesn't start with this mentioned in rin.ru topic.With skidrow crack it manages to go only to main menu and then it wants internet connection.Someone should modify the emulator for splinter cell specially and then collecting of values should start.
Some bad news popped up.Maybe ubi has made the data from their servers encrypted cuz legit users collect strange info.But maybe this is why the game is not out officially and servers don't work properly.

The point of a protection is to delay the cracking process not stop it. This DRM is very good ! If its not cracked on release day its good . every extra day thas passes brings money to UBI.

Hmm, Ubisoft asked Ubisoft? Yeah of course programmers don't care about DRM, it's the administration.
Let's wait for "the leading force" guys! rin might help, but they will probably miss lots of trigger as usual.

For Ubisoft this DRM is a great success. Look how long it took AC2 to be playable...
Any DRM that is not cracked in the first 2-3 weeks after release can be considered a success by any publisher, cuz thats the sales hotspot. And Ubisoft is probably going to continue to develop the DRM based on what they learned from the AC2 Cracks/Emulators.
Implenting this shit on the 360 is probably easier as one might think, they already got that Uplay stuff on there. You can bet your ass they are working on it.

I don't understand why it would matter if the values were encrypted.
Couldn't you just feed the encrypted data to the game and it would do all the decryption on it's own as if the real server was sending the encrypted data ?
Unless the server was also sending some randomly generated encryption key to be used with the values , but then again there's a big chance i have no idea what the fuck i'm talking about.

Unless they make the drm uncrackable, it will hurt sales. customers will be pissed cause of the drm, when a working crack (and better playable version then the legit) will be released.
Think is will work for the smaller titles though, ac2 was the holy grail for hackers and still it took them a month, i think it will take months for other titles to be cracked.

A proof some people WILL buy the game if there's no crack available on release date. stemot, please don't do it, don't gives reason to Ubi for that shameful DRM. If you would buy all your games, ok go for it, but you seems like someone who would have pirated it if a crack would have been available.

I bought Assassins Creed 2 as well. I was waiting for reviews before getting this, but they have been favourable. Plus, if I buy it I can help with collecting the value codes. E-mailed the cdkey site, turns out I would have to wait for release day to get the code, I may as well wait for my order from game.

We need help for values.db so if you hava legit key playable with CloneDVD version follow this procedure:

Please try different things. Different weapons, methods. Fail missions at random if possible. More values = less problems for others.

The AC2 crack used the same values as the emulated server, it's likely that any SC:C crack will be based on these values as well.
If you consider those values shitty, you won't be able to play the game at all...or buy it.
