Played it front to back, didnt collect any stuff except for the armor and had no white screens. the game closes itself from time to time though... dunno whats up with that but it always saves before it crashes/closes so no problem
|

wow, skidrow crack was all compiled into an altered launcher dll ? fires up as well i see, but does it really all work? i mean there is no way to update the database if more pairs are found this way right...
so whats the info on this? feedback from those that have been using it please only

I finished the game using the "skidrow rls". AC2 was really awesome. I liked how the story went on and how it ended ... with a cliffhanger ... again. I always liked the illuminati/templer/hentai pope conspiracy. I am looking forward to "AC3"

Anyone else seeing one of their CPU cores maxed 100% while the other is only 40-50 % maxed when playing AC2?
I have a Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz and one of the cores are flat out maxed to 100%...

I know it's probably said x100 times, but how exactly to unlock additional content (DLC and stuff). I know it's something save related, but nothing else.
Can anybody point me to right direction?

maybe you installed other game which overwrote ubi launcher folder? just reapply skidrow crack and you should be fine

You need to download the AC2 Black edition auto patcher.

I asked the same question a couple pages back, u just need to overwrite "1.save" and "1.save.metadata" in ur save folder.
Here you have a 100% complete savegame, just grab the files i mentioned.

Not always are named 1.save" and 1.save.metadata.SOmetimes is 2.save and 2.save.metadata.Just see which files are bigger.Savegame ones(for campaigh) are about 60-70-100 and more kb,the others which are save file only for special content are smaller about 2-3 kb each.You must repaced them with ones that have bonus content unlocked.Be careful because if you replace wrogn one you will lose you save!

If you have a single profile "2.save" is always the savegame.

I only have one profile and I only have one file in the savegame dir named 1.save
The Assassins_Creed_2_Saves.rar contains 4 files:
1.save.metadata 16 byes
1.save 2126 bytes
2.save.metadata 16 byes
2.save 137183 bytes
If i want to unlock the the extras on my own savegame is that possible?

ok, but I got the impression that the saves from the The Assassins_Creed_2_Saves.rar contained saves that was allready patched. But I can see that the only way for me to use my save with that .rar would be if the .metadata file is the one unlocking the xtra content

There's one generic save file with information about the game and unlocks and such (1.sav and the other file for it for example.) and then a smaller size one (2.sav and so on.) for game progress I think it was.
(Under that program folder for the launcher by default in a randomly named folder of the profile used to play the game with, unsure how this is emulated, saw a hack of the emulator with some 1910 database values on ag.ru that had similar profiling I think and some other enhancements.)
