Is it just me or does this game looks fucking crap? Looks like there is some crisp or something..dunno how to say it correct.

good for you. but if you read other posts here for some people it lasts 5-15 secs.

Maybe you can turn off autosave, I'm sure this will be fixed either by a patch or a crack.

its odd if it looks crap, just go to all the youtube vids of gameplay it looks stunning on them, wonder why its looking crap?.. Ill give my verdict when I get it downloaded and installed.. |

You have to change the level once (Or reload the current map then load a savegame to get back in progress.), 1.02 removed the MSAA option as it was basically a strong blur filter, 1.03 further seems to tweak the AA filter so it's less blurry but it's been a while since I checked both (MSAA being removed for a while.) so it could just be a placebo effect.
(Both used varying amounts of blur.)

im still not getting this blur thing, ill soon see i guess, but again all the vids ive watched it didnt look blury it all looked crystal clear  so whats with that lol ?

why do i get servers not available.. every time i launch.. i even reinstalled.. to razor version and just 1.02 patch.. could be cuz of ubisoft launcher and ac2 skidrows crack ?

No as i have the same skidrow crack
You tried deleting all the ubisoft stuff in hosts ? or cleaning out any previous settlers 7 files

Loved integrated tiny cracktro in GTA 4, and now full featured in this game. They definitely should keep adding them 
Game is quite good and I think it's a little bit incorrect to compare it gameplay wise to Anno 1404. Anno is more abstracted, here all is more personal Graphic wise Anno 1404 is much better, AA works as it should. In S7 with AA it's a blurry mess, without AA trees look very noisy
So far played the first mission only. Like the work yards feature, simplifies building placement reduces planning micromanagement. In Anno 1404, I used grid paper to plan layouts 
GUI... Anno 1404 had one of the best GUI in strategy game, here it's even more polished. |

ye.. i backed all original launcher files now.. now i actually get launcher.. and it doesnt start the game if i dont update.. to 1.03.. in cs rin forums they said crack doesnt work with 1.03 patch.. meh, and my host file is gone.. so thats not it either.. meh.. i suppose ill just let it update and see what happens..

When i turn AA on, it looks like shit.

works now.. seems it was 118 and 119 launcher that would fuck razor protection completely , reinstalled deleted, ubisoft launcher. 115 installed.. and didnt update itself afterwards..
so did anyone attempted 1.03 patch ?

why are u all ponsing about with a ubi launcher? game works fine it seems with the general crack, shame about the uplay buying stuff with ingame earnt gold though would of liked to look at that hehe..

Mostly castle parts (Seven sided foundation for 5000 or just decorations for a few 100 gold.) aside from the uPlay limited stuff for beating the various conditions like finishing the campaign, winning in a 1 vs 3 AI and so on.
(New skirmish map in some sort of dark forest, extra bonus castle parts and the "excessive" resource option to choose when setting starting conditions outside the campaign or for the editor.)
(There's also various general achievements and the "gold" you can earn in various ways to purchase general items, achievements are just for show but the gold unlocks the above minus the limited uPlay specific content, CE adds some stuff as well but nothing special aside from a extra castle decoration and maybe something else.)
(Castle doesn't really differ outside of appearance and maybe size so customizations are completely cosmetic but can be fun to toy with.)

Tried it for a few more hours, just can't get into it. It's kinda too kid like for me. Where as Anno is the adult version. Think that's what I'm trying to say. I played like 5 campaign maps, and a few skirmishes, and nah I just can't get into it, lol. The cartoony look kills it for me I guess. I know it's the settlers and all, was just looking for more. Eh, anyway, next game
Oh and for some reason my game autosaves every 5-6 minutes, anyone else? And it lasts for like 20 seconds too, wtf is that about? I know some of you are saying it's only like a sec or two, not on my rig, lol

Settlers was always kiddie. That's what made it great. A good RTS whivh doesn't require constant micro managing. While I loved Anno, I can enjoy Settlers with its chill gameplay too. I'm going to waut for a cracked 1.03 before I start this one though.

Patch 1.03 repaired those freezes. So it was the game, not the crack.

Doubtful, my rig is plenty fast. I know it's not on my end, lol. Perhaps when I move to W7, it won't get the freeze like it does with this setup, but by the time I move to W7, I could give a fuck about this game. In fact, just deleted, lol.
