Maybe some preorder BS ? Like order from Gamestop and get a cool looking HAT or a golden grip for you gun... and if this is like some 10$ DLC already ready then yeah a big FU then.
Yeah sometimes although it's mostly beta stuff like say testing Steam compatibility or such I think.
(There's a beta entry for Liberty City Stories for example and a beta entry for the new Serious Sam title, some promo entries like Just Cause 2 NVIDIA and another for Cybervision plus something for Kane and Lynch and some other titles plus DLC placeholders and indie game lists.)
Gets deleted fast though so I can't find much to use as a proper example at the moment.
EDIT: Here's the latest stuff I can find that's put together, scrolled up a bit so "Winterbottom" "Settlers 7 Gold" (The collector edition of it.) and the worldwide entry (WW) for Serious Sam isn't in this list but it shows a few more DLC and beta lists instead like Brink, L4D2 Ep1 DLC (Parish) and others.
(The Mafia 2 demo entry is amongst the most recent stuff updated, of course this does list content in "AppID" order so any new stuff for earlier application ID's aren't seen this way.)
Steam Reg Edit 0.5.1 or something I think the utility and version number of it is, used to view the ClientRegistry.blob file which has account data but also a lot of title data and info about it like availability, extras and more for Steam to use, unsure why it's kept locally like this as the tool and info gained from it have been available for quite a while but it is helpful.
(Can't be used to download anything or so on it's own but it gives a nice overview and also shows upcoming titles and projects though not much aside from the name and other smaller info.)
Ofcourse I only understand part of it, getting stuff to decrypt from the servers, creating emulators and loaders is something different, those "CS Steam underground" forums are pretty informative about this sort of thing.
I dont like that have any car and gun stuff. You should have a pistol and a long arm or sub machine gun only. Also one car in your garage at a time, unless there is a garage upgrade option. 360 version looks blurry, Im sure PC will have nice textures and higher poly models

You can see in PhysX Mafia II promotional video how PC version looks.
"less than a third" of the size of GTA IV's Liberty City
This doesnt sound good.LC is not big at all.1/3 of it sound...a little .Smell city like in godfather 2...
Lost Heaven was quite small too. But detailed and it was still lot of fun. I don't think Mafia should be compared to GTA. It's same kind of sandbox game.
I was played Mafia 1 long time ago, cant estimate whether Lost Heaven is small or not,now and then ,standarts are different.Maybe i was plaing GTA4 too much and know the city good and start to feel it small....I hope am not right and this size wil be no problem of how game looks.
Thats better but still little.I dont think that LC is big.I think it has enough size. But little then that is still small i think. As @lolozaur said 2-3 max 5 min from one end to other.
But still "less than a third" its now equal to "a third less" and in the news is written first one...
