Randomly found one other person through match making and played a bit with him. So, how exactly does this thing work? Can players with cracked versions only play together or what? Anyway, my ubi-name is ArtursL1991 if anyone wants to try adding me.

that patch u have was a bogus.. its not on ubi servers anymore... try to reinstall game and see that the game doesnt update anymore... stays on version 1.0...

Completed the first hunter mission on realistic. Matchmaking seems to somewhat work, while I can't connect to private games.

me too, I simply uninstalled AVG and instead installed avast.. solved my problem....

This game is ALOT better than i thought, the coop multiplayer is especially awesome, tons of replay value here, the maps are big, you customize your outfit and weapons - and it revolves alot more around stealth. I have already wasted alot of hours playing the Hunter mode.

There's a huge problem/bug with the game, in multiplayer if you get revived you become invincible, totally ruins the game for me tbh.
Any one got a legit version of the game to test this? It might be a crack/drm issue.

As an avid Splinter Cell fan, I am very disappointed with this game.
It runs like crap, the controls are lame, can't make the sensitivity even go up and there's no more speed control with the mouse wheel. On top of that, the new Sam Fisher model looks lame - doesn't even look like Sam Fisher - the story is boring, the game is only 5 hours long and this is not a stealth action game anymore!!!
WTF?! Why do companies like Ubisoft take games that work, and just as they've nailed the best formula (i.e. Chaos Theory) they fuck it all up and try to re-invent it! I mean why?! Why not just try to improve on something that works so well?!?!!!

The only thing skidrow changed in the .exe was telling it to load their orbit dll from the game folder instead of the ubisoft game launcher folder, btw. With 1.01 it might be possible to get their dll working by just copying it to the game launcher folder instead (haven't tried it myself, too lazy/don't care).

^yup, just played some co-op with matchmaking system, took about 5-10 minutes for someone to join but it works.
but this game is a terrible console port, the 30fps on high settings with my system and this old unreal engine isnt right.
go to gametrailers.com, watch all the mp videos on this game and the game director keep saying all the time "you must work together as a team, use team tactics" blah blah blah, he says online play is all about team work, strategy and what not but yet there is no lobby chat, in game chat or voip... silly.
but its fun, its well worth the download at least or should be a $20 dollar game at most.
