Just got an email from the APB folks:

The long awaited release date has been unveiled as June 29th for North
America and July 2nd for Europe! All Points Bulletin is now available for
pre-order on apb.com. The pre-order price is currently set at £34.99
(British Pounds), $49.99 (U.S. Dollars) and €39.99 (Euros). The pre-order
price also includes access to two exclusive emotes, two exclusive clothing
sets, two exclusive cars, an exclusive decal, as well as early access to
the game and 60 total hours of action district gameplay for the retail
version. The pre-order also includes 100 RTW Points which can be used to
purchase unannounced content.

APB’s incredible customization tools allow you to create a truly unique
identity, from outfits to tattoos to personal theme songs. Use your
creativity and your trigger finger to make your mark on the living city of
San Paro, and become famous - or infamous!

A quick summary of all known information...

* Release Date: June 29th for North America, July 2nd for Europe.
* Price: £34.99/$49.99/€39.99
* Pre-order benefits: Exclusive content, early access, 60 hours of
action district gameplay, 100 RTW Points.
* On-going Cost: It appears that action district time is limited, while
social district time is unlimited. You can purchase an additional 20 action
district hours for $6.99/£5.59/€6.29, or a thirty (30) day unlimited pass
for $9.99/£7.99/€8.99, with discounts for 90-day or 180-day purchases.
* RTW Points: RTW points are going to be bartered with in the
marketplace in some form. RTW Points will be able to be converted into game
time or in-game cash.
* There's a new trailer for the pre-order bonuses

When I played a month or so ago I figured they were a year or maybe 2 from release... unless they've made some huge progress in this I can't see it do much more than failing. The missions were repetitive and boring. Your feet were always sunk into the ground. The car handling/physics were jacked. I can't believe they are already releasing this.

And them lovely monthly costs as well as 35 quid for the fucking game.
From a developer I've never fucking heard of.
So all in all, you will be paying over hundred pounds per year on a game you already bought for 35 quid.
I hope these numpties go bust.
YOU DESERVE IT.

I love people who get angry about the MMO genre. Its no different than subscribing to cable TV.. you get constantly updated content and you pay for it.

As for the developer, if you haven't heard of them, you may need to start paying more attention to gaming.

Two months until release? The game is a year (or two) from being completed and polished!

Also, release it on a period time that the Cataclysm Beta is expected it's the complete overkill of any chance the game had.

True, but APB is even farther from that.

Me and a few buddies of me really loves this game.
We always play together using mic's for the ultimate experience, since playing this game alone REALLY sucks bigtime.
We're all def. gonna buy it.

Also, I still got a EU Beta invite if anyone wants.. PM me..

I hate you.

It doesn't have a offline component does it? would need a full server emulator and those take time and need constant updating like say the Lineage projects or WoW ones.
(Not very active in MMO projects, got Guild Wars via the 50% off from Steam this week and the last addition via their online store for a additional 10 Euro or something like that, quite well patched by now and still somewhat active and quite good for more casual players like me, little more active in Monster Hunter Tri as of lately as well having done everything possible in the single player part and the only way to progress higher is online due to those extra components needed and such haha.)
