I've done chapter 1. I'm very much liking so far.
The atmosphere is ace, sound is good (playing on 5.1 headphones in the dark) and graphically I like it.

Controls are somewhat clunky. I've died twice, both times from looking around and Alan falling off stuff. Apparently he doesn't like water Smile

Does anyone know how to play this on a 1.6 xbox360?

Hmm i could patch it to wave 3, but dont know if that will work Very Happy

You could try that but I've had pretty bad luck. I patched it to Wave 3 and burnt it 4 times and each time ended with a coaster. They were Aones (cheap DL's) but I've never had 4 coasters in a row.

Maybe the patch doesn't work for this game ?.

Is it just me or does this game look godawful?

It's like i have an inch of Vaseline on my monitor, or someone tried to cover up a hideously low resolution with a bunch of filters and antialiasing.

As far as I can see there's no antialising.

Yea I think he's confusing the "blur" effect when moving the camera. I think the game looks fine for what it is trying to be.

Also, I think it would be an awesome "geek" moment if they were able to get the "Previously. . .on Lost" guy to do the bumpers.

Played the first episode and a few minutes on the second one yesterday. Great game, what else can I say Smile

Sound design is awesome, sounds so good in 5.1. Graphics look good, controls aren't bad at all (sure, they could be a bit better, but they do the job well) and best of all, is the atmosphere, i really like it Very Happy

After playing it for two hours I'm just speechless. For a King/ Twin Peaks fan like me this is something beyond awesome. I've spent an hour just walking around daytime levels and enjoying every goddamn detail, object, texture and light effect.

Oh god this game is great. I am at the beginning of Episode 4 and it just gets better and better.

I am actually glad they went for the linear/non-open world route, you couldn't have had a tight story like this in an open world. There is always something happening, the characters are all great and the background info you get from radio/hidden manuscript pages just helps deepen their relationship.

The combat is actually not very hard and I rarely have too little ammunition (which is usually the case in horror games).

I'll head home early from work just to get along the story further, before one of you guys forgets to spoiler something highly relevant and then it takes from my fun. Actually, I won't even read around here anymore until I finish it, just to be on the safe side.

I have the latest dashboard, Xtreme 1.51 firmware, patched the game to Wave 3, but I can't get it to work. Burned it on a cheap dvd, and on a verb. It won't work Sad

All other games work fine though

Simple question:

Did you burn @ x2?
If you did then try shutting down your extraneous resources, if that doesn't work reboot your pc and run nothing but CloneCd.
A simplistic approach but often the one that works the most often.

Good luck.

Of course I can't guarantee that your rls is correct, but mine had the same filenames and it's perfectly fine Smile
Just check the files with ABGX to see if it's the real thing Smile

I burned it on the verb at 2X speed but that didn't seem to do much. Same results. And I have a very good PC so the resources aren't a problem although I left it alone while burning. I'll wait for a scene release I think. Maybe that will work.

A game that took 6 years to develop is always worth a verb if you ask me, if its your cup of tea i dont know.
