it takes relatively long to load a level when running the game from the hdd... so running it from a dvd should take forever, if that's what ur doing

i dont know. i play from dvd and it doesnt take more than around 30 sec i think. usually less.
also i tried out the splitscreen mp. only tried one map, but seems to work ok.

Split screen doesnt work here either same problem has the others tried to patch it to retail reburn it the game doesnt even wanna load froze at xbox logo too and for the split screen part always says something about profile not connected or connexion failure at the bottom of the screen anyways for those of u that can get split screen working did u have to unlock it or what cuz mine even wont start the game doesnt freeze or anything it just wont start anyways hope theres a fix or another version of the game just wondering if any of you tried to reburn the game

This release is an old build and that's why this release has long load times. I heard this from a developer.
Hopefully a retail version will be released.

Well, i cant get it to play in my old beta modded box. It origianlly didnt get past the green xbox boot screen, then i managed to unpack the iso, patch it to retail using Xiso, rebuilt it, and it now gets up to the brothers in arms white writing on a black background loading screen. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? patch or otherwise?

aha interesting. i wonder if anything else will be different? except people getting mp to work and stuff and so. the game seems pretty complete to me.

Question: is the splitscreen deathmatch, or is it coop? It wasn't stated clearly in the reviews i've read

hmm, wams release works fine for me, mp splitscreen has no problems so far, i´ve patched all .xbe´s to retail with xiso, works from dvd and hd without any problems.

This release did not work for me, I get "dirty disc" straight after the "Mature" screen. Hopefully the NTSC release will work.
I ran the game from a DVD-R that I'd burnt in 2x mode, and I also tried copying the game to the HD using dvd2xbox, but then the game freezes at the very first screen.

R.A.W.S.T.E.E.Z: If your xbox is set to NTSC-region, it may not work with a PAL release.
For example, most of easports games freeze during loading if you try to run the game with your xbox set to the "wrong" region.
Possible solution: use enigma switchdisc to set your xbox to PAL, and try again.

I got it it seems that in the wam version split screen only works if ur xbox is connected to the internet and byt that i mean having a network cable plug to ur xbox i dont know why and if anyone dowloaded the newer version the ntsc one give me feed back cuz i dont wanna have to redowload for nothing this is realy IMPORTANT to see if the same problem persist

Thanks for the tip.
But I've actually tried what you said, tried running the game in both NTSC and PAL mode, still the same thing.
Even copied it to the HDD using dvd2xbox (or something), but then it froze at the very first screen instead of the second, which is the Mature warning.
