I see small window box say Loading... Then after few seconds its back to windows and doing nothing.

If im cheking then the Start Task Manager i see the blackmirror.exe file running.

I dont know if its cuz i didnt install the directx as the game asked for or maybe cuz i have widescreen or maybe just a bad crack or saomething by FLT .

You dont need to use any crack copy or something .

Just not working .

Anyone else got it to work ?

Yeah I just noticed that, was about to post about it, will have to redownload and play trough the first game as I never got trough it but this looks like a good adventure game based on the previous posts above about it. Smile
(Been very slow and sluggish lately, a ton of titles to go trough due to that.)

EDIT: NFO

The firs one was a great game imho, one of the best adventures of the latest years.
Great atmosphere, great musics, beautiful backgrounds and classic "british detective novel" style mystery. Only bad thing were the character models that really looked like shit Razz but apart from that, I really recommend giving it a try if you like classic detective stories and adventure games.

Probably a loader or similar, many cracks, keygens and trainers have this "problem" but it's mainly false positives (Hooks to other processes and such behavior.), useful to be alert about however depending on the source used to download from. Smile

Hmm the FLT version works fine for me (XP 32bit). Havent tried my Win7 main machine yet.

Anyway, awesome game so far, I love how the space bar thingy works. I hate moving my mouse around the screen pixel by pixel to find something Smile

Well I didnt play for that long but so far I love it. And Im usually not a huge adventure fan Smile
The one different thing tho is that when you press space bar it shows you the things you can interact with (something like TAB in BG2) so you dont go pixel hunting too much. Also most of the stuff you do makes sense.

The graphics are amazing (for an adventure), I love these kinds of rendered backgrounds. Its not lifeless at all tho, there is a traffic light properly changing lights, birds, smoke from a chimney, clouds moving etc... Characters look pretty good actually, there also seems to be some default AA which helps.

Story wise I didnt do much but so far it seems interesting enough Smile

They are related and I would recommend you playing BM1 as it's a really good adventure game but with some flaws unfortunately (not bugs but often you will have to walk around several screens and come back to the place where you have to do your next puzzle etc.) It seems to be designed so the player will feel that time passes between different actions but you can't just leave the character and do something else for maybe 10 minutes, you have to move him around several screens to "pass the time".

I know it sounds weird and it is, but the game is really great so maybe you should just play it with a walkthrough in-hand (no shame there as it can get difficult from time to time).

It is possible to get stuck as well (First game.) if you forget something or do something in the wrong order as the game sometimes allow you to progress regardless, it's interesting but can be a hinder otherwise.

Played the first chapter, the game so far is quite good.

The story is intriguing, graphics are decent but for now they lack the atmosphere of the first game, maybe that's because the first chapter is set in a quiet seaside village in maine, so not many gothic creepy medieval castles around Very Happy

The interface is perfect, they really did their best to avoid boring the player with the usual annoyances of most adventure games: fast travel lets you skip those boring sequences where you just walk from one place to another to use a certain item on a spot you already know, you can scroll the inventory items with the mouse wheel without having to pop up the inventory every time, and you can see immediately if an item can interact with a certain object in the game or not, thus avoiding "inventory tiral-n-error" sections.
You can also see all the hotspots on the screen by pressing the spacebar, which you may or may not like... on one hand it removes pixel-hunting, on the other it might feel a bit like cheating.

The puzles so far are all logical and "reasonable", no idiotic combination of items or absurd solutions. The only problem so far is they really are very easy... hope things get a bit more difficult as the game progresses, or it will get boring pretty quickly.

Hmm, I like this game so far (just started on chapter 2), but one thing bothers me, and it's that while all the supporting characters have an ok voice over, our hero sounds like a young boyish Arnold Schwarnezenegger trying to sound like an American Smile

I know this isn't the first modern adventure game made in the EU that has this problem, but why do these companies keep spending their small budget on a bad voice over for their main character's while having plenty of Oxford English sounding characters all around them? Smile

Imho, it would be much better to have main characters speaking proper English without heavy accents on projects where it isn't possible to find a Real American or Russian or German etc.
That should be a viable solution since it is apparent that British Voice actors isn't hard to find.
