and when you take in mind those dlc where the "10$ project", (you can read more about it on EA site) EA cuts stuff from games and releases them as free dlc just to force gamers to buy new copies, not used ones, if you buy those, you have to pay 10$ for all the free stuff...you really feel shafted

160 points if you were to purchase it, unsure but I think the minimum is 400 points for 5$ or something.

I can see why they took out the inventory and loot. Mass DLCing a bunch of crappy armor instead, quite smart from a greedy whore point of view..

yes

but why would anyone want this. i downloaded it because im a compulsive downloader... the armor is still the same one-piece bullshit like all the others (bioware STAUNCHLY DETERMINED that they will NEVER give us what we want - some FUCKING CHEST/ARM/LEG INDIVIDUAL FUCKING PIECES), and the two helmets are shit (ill never give up my 10% headshot bonus one).

i dunno... i really dont... i mean its obvious SOME effort went into this shit, the question is WHY waste that effort on something so crap and pointless? i dont expect every dlc to be a new mission or whatever, but atleast some fun stuff or cool useful stuff, yes?

i only brought up the upcoming dlc announcement because i honestly thought it was that fabled liara one.. i really did...

I also downloaded all these dlc's just because I could, but I find that 99% of them are just boring or screwing with the game difficulty so I get way to overpowered... I mean Zead was boring the Mako, Boring, the different types of armor was useless, the only thing I found useful was the Collector Rifle but that was too powerful so I just used that for the whole game.
The same goes Imho for Dragon Age, Wardens Keep wasn't bad but the extra equipment just made me too powerful (Not gonna mention Shale since it was free and fun Smile

So Bioware experimented with dlc, fair enough, but I think the way to go is to stick with doing big expansions like The Awakened which continued the story and generally had some substance to it (This type of content I'll gladly pay for).

Oh and btw. I think Bioware knows that these dlc's are screwing with the game balance since they didn't allow a lot of it to be imported into the Awakened.

weeellll finished my third playthrough... given that this is my first continued character from ME1, this will be my 'main' story character for ME3 so this shit'll count i guess... ill keep the character and hopefully wont delete it Sad

decided fuck it... in the end i did kerblewy the base... you gotta admit... finishing with a massive explosion is far more epic and satisfying than a little radiation cloud...

besides, i can roll another character eventually that keeps it and does a more 'paragon' route so that i can have a completely different experience (i didnt try to play renegade, i just played what choices felt right regardless of the p/r scores... conscience based if you like... so only mostly renegade Twisted Evil)

i even allowed tali to live this time... i guess shes not that bad... killing her twice is enough i guess. ill let her see me3...

I just finished ME1, i'd rate it 6/10. I thought the combat was quite ok, everything else was pretty bad, especially the story and boss fights, extremely lame (but expected since its Bioware, or maybe more fair; its a comptuter game Wink ).

Is ME2 worth installing if you liked the combat in ME1, is it that much better (what is better?) Is the graphics updated at all?

if you hated me1, dont bother with me2.

and nah the story in me2 wasnt better. i thought the story in me was way more interesting actually... very b5..., even though the plot doesnt really kick in till towards the end, but overall, the story was great.

ME2 looks much better than ME1 and the controls are much more intuitive. The combat is much more fun than ME1 in my opinion.

Story is about as lame or brilliant as the first one... I loved it but you probably won't, if you hated the first one.

Yes, if you had that kind of feelings in ME1 you will probably like ME2 better. Maybe even a loooot better.
