i dunno what trailer i saw - didnt get the link from here, but holy crap this looks really cool... not cool like greatest film of the year, but i really want to see this.
and its got paul bettany and kevin durand in it... fuck yeah.

why do people equate cgi that isnt cutting edge, with an automatically shit film? as long as it doesnt look like a 5 minute job done in mspaint, and it serves the story well enough, and the scenes are cool enough and the atmosphere is good enough that you can look past it, then shit... who cares if the cgi isnt weta quality...

Sorry to revive this thread, but shit was this movie crap. Incoherent story, crappy CGI, bad acting all around, ridiculous "drama". What the hell. One of the worst movies I've seen for a while.
One thing I can't figure out. What the hell did the baby do? They go through all this trouble and the little asholes doesn't have the decency to kick some ass with his tiny legs.
