Thats what I mean, after an hour at a speed of 990 kb/s and this is all they have to show for it. "First link almost done supposedly " at 100mb file at those speeds he should have more after an hour than one supposed file

heck just unplug your ethernet cable and stay off live while your playing. online servers wont be up till next week anyways. remember that MS is banning consoles so even if you play a game that isnt out and get achievements and then afterwards you go on live it will show those achievements but theres no way to say what console the achievement were gained on so no way to get banned. I have been doing this for over 2 years now and I still havent had a console banned

Yeah but even if I play a botched, non-100% stealthed release offline, M$ would know when I reconnect to Live later..

nahh, i've done it a long time and with a 1.4 firmware, just recently upgraded to newest. I just put the game in with the cable out and make sure i never boot the console to dashboard with the game disc in when the cable is in. Just take out the game and restart the console.
