nahh, i've done it a long time and with a 1.4 firmware, just recently upgraded to newest. I just put the game in with the cable out and make sure i never boot the console to dashboard with the game disc in when the cable is in. Just take out the game and restart the console.

Then you have been lucky because it doesnt work.

I never had my ethernet cable plugged in to my old xbox until I wanted to download DLC for Trials then BAM banned so unplugging is NOT safe I´m afraid.

All kidding aside, only one of them have "broken down" but I got it xclamped and runs just fine now. Failed after 3 years of massive gaming. All tho not everyone are able to (more or less) permanently fix their 360s with xclamps. (what a bunch of noobs

) This one is my JTAG project btw.

My two 360s with lite-on are being used daily. One of them mainly for BC2 online gaming, the other for everything else.

So all in all, I haven't used much money on 360s. One of them cost me 999NOK = 160 USD (never seen it for such awesome price since then tho Sad

). Thats not even a decent gfx card Laughing

Ok, maybe a decent one, but you get my point

As for the x360 elite... its damn overpriced, and you basically just pay for a different color Rolling Eyes
