i hope this is the right place to ask. i got 137 images that i need to crop. they are screenshots from a movie. i'm going to crop out the player so only the movie image is showing. can any of you photoshop guys tell me if there is a way with photoshop that i could have it select the same "area" on each picture or am i going to have to do each of them, one by one?

crop one, record it as an action, then apply it to all others via batch/automate

...or just figure out your crop dimensions and use irfanview's batch processing

pretty cool, i see how it could work. but what i'm doing is selecting the part of the image i want and pasting it into a new image and numbering it. so each image saved would need a different number. how will it know to do that?

you do know that there's a dedicated crop tool, do ya? no need for pasting into a new image, just hit record, then crop, then end record and save the action. Wink

thanks for that bush! man that is making it much quicker for me hahaha go ahead and call me a damn N00B. now if i can get the record thing doing what i want it to do. i recorded my actions but it insists on saving every file with the filename of "6". if i could get it to do it sequentially or to prompt me for the file name i'd have this done in minutes instead of hours.
