Some may have noticed it, some not. Joowood are developing a game based on Stargate SG-1. As I'm a Stargate enthusiast I'm really looking forward to this. Here's an old press message from late November:

Hey, thanks for the screenie link!

I heard the story a while back, am thrilled about the whole project, just like you. Smile

It's the first time I've seen any screenshots of the game, it's pretty nice for a game that had development starting not so long ago... Wink

Screenshots and game should be pretty atmospheric too, check out the game's site. Smile

JoWooD have published three good games in their existence: GOTHIC, GOTHIC 2, and THE GUILD (Die Guilde). The rest have been pure crap, and this turkey-series will most likely provide us with a turkey-game.

Great trailer, though I wish they would show more of the game. :

Man those egyptian helmet thingies FUCK...... Goa'uld, Jaffa, what ever. They look so fucking..... they look like... warriors, fuck they look like hardcore soldiers man that really leaves a mark on me.

Im a huge Stargate Fan , Have been for years now The whole things fasinates me Its not just the action its the story etc, Love the hsitory of it all Ancients etc.

Ive always wanted a Stargate game to come out, Just the fact your killing jaffa and you can shoot a Zat gun, RRRRRRR too much Smile.

I think I must be the only one that didnt think the trailer was great :S. It was good yes just didnt like the p90 graphics then again Its early day plus I wouldnt really care overall for one reason, ITS STARGATE so who cares.

Im dying waiting for Season 9 and Season 2 Sad

Same here. Love Stargate! I recommend you to check "The official hl2 mod and maps thread" in this section for more info about two new Stargate mods.

Yes of course. But maybe it will be a FPS/RPG combo. Don't forget Stargate BFM. The new Stargate mod for BF1942

I fear this game could turn out to be utter crap. I've seen it happen to alot of other games, whith great story, good graphics, great trailers, then they turn out lacking. Man i hope this is not the case with SG-A, fuck i hope it lands on it's feet. I loved SG, from the day I saw the movie when i was a 12 year old boy Very Happy

Im really looking forward to this game, being a big, Massive, Huge Stargate fan Im very excited about running around in the Stargate world, playing some of the team, hopefully someone makes a Nude patch so we can see Sam naked. Very Happy
