Thanks. I'm an idiot, I didn't have the maps of the 2nd territory yet so no area names were popping up on my world map.

It's not in the 2nd territory. It's in the first, just right down at the bottom.

Has anyone confirmed about the robbing of houses yet??

I remember saw a pic of yourself in a house with a gun pointed at a guy who was opening a safe.

Well im at the start of the game but cant enter any houses.

Is it like in GTA:SA where house robbing was started later on from a mission?

Also when even I point the gun at someone, its hard to find the Y prompt to rob them, and then they run off and alert everyone, how can you stop them quickly and silently?

Wait till youre able to rob safes? I mean it's in your STATS menu.

Not sure about the house robbing. Its been mentioned everywhere pre-game hype but not encountered it yet.

As for robbing people in the street, the only tips I can provide is use a close quarters gun (sawn off shotgun for instance) and aim at their head. The minute you lose them in your sights, they make a dash for it, sometimes before. Its still hit and miss but that seems to work 75% of the time.

I seem to be in the habit of randomly killing horses tonight. I was breaking a horse, had lasso'd it and then my horse knocked me off the cliff. Sadly, the lasso'd horse came crashing down with me. Apparently they can't take a cliff fall :/

Also accidently shot my horse in the head running rull pelt in a horse back gun fight. Poor thing. Obviously it diedm but left me with a smile on my face.

I can't believe how many people fail at finding the treasures. They're pretty easy, managed to find all 10 no problem.

Do you loose honor by robbing banks? Been a "honor drifter" for awhile but finally decided to become as honorable as possible. My title atm is "honorable joe"

Just wear the bandana, it disables honor/fame changes. Dunno if a successful bank robbery would give some fame as well tho?

Any chance you could post a picture or describe where the 6th is? The one in mexico that is behind a big kinda pointy rock.

I've just got to the 3rd area and i'm enjoying the game again, I didn't really like mexico.

After having played 5-7 hours I am in love with this game. I don´t understand ahow anyone can claim the world lifeless. Stuff happens all the time even in desolate areas to switch the pace a little. Sometimes I just find myself wandering around in the middle of nowhere, picking flowers, shooting rabbits and then climb up to a mountain top and enjoy the scenery. A little Hippy-ish but hey that´s fine. The view distance is just amazing. The overall atmosphere too!

Marston is also hell of a lot more likeable than any of the main GTA-characters which is a plus.

I did find a bug last night though. I was on one of the bounty missions and the bad guys wouldn´t fire their guns even when I was 2 meters from them aiming my gun for their head. Restarted the game and it hasn´t happened since.

Anyways, will definitely buy the game when it´s available to show my support for a product well done.

Anyone heard anything more in regards to the co op DLC that is to get released soon? Wish I had a Jtag-console to be able to play it in co op, that would be even more awesome!

some people don't understand how treasure finding works. you are not supposed to find one treasure after another right away. you are meant to explore the world to the point where little clues given in treasure maps start to make sense.

and asking for treasure locations on the forum? that's just completely ruining this wonderful game. you don't feel even a little motivated to explore the world and find it yourselves?

i only found 2 treasures so far but every time was very very satisfying because i did it all by myself Very Happy

No I don't feel motivated to run around the whole of mexico looking for a certain rock formation after i've done every mission there and don't like the place.

I've already moved to Mexico but one question still bugs me: the game constantly says 'the gunsmith has new weaponry in stock' but every time I checked the gunsmith in Armadillo he has the same stuff as in the beginning of the game. Any ideas...?

I was just wondering through the woods last night, looking for hunting game, and I came across a man crying over a body of a woman, I thought it was strange, he then took out a gun and blew his own head off. Man this game has masses of atmosphere.

yup, loving the game Smile
gonna buy the pc version if it ever comes *g*

anyway, i'm too stupid to do the treasure hunting thing. all I see is a cactus, a rock and a X marks the spot. Now do I have to look for the constellation of rock and cactus as depicted on the map or in the world or....how does that even work? seems a bit hard for me

If you know where the mine in Gaptooth Breach is (well, basicalyl the mine _is_ Gaptooth Breach) you found the hideout though it took quite long for me to actually unlock as a hideout (in that I could clear it out)

Yes exactly. Look for the formation when you ride around the landscape. I´ve only done 2 treasure hunting thingies so far though.

nah i wouldn't say its over hyped. it's gta in the wild west basically. a lot has been changed though so it's not like they released a "mod" and charged full price for it. sadly it does suffer from the same clunky robotic controls from the last gta entry.

for you treasure hunting guys, one more time - yes you can ride around and look for random formations till you find one that fits the image on the map OR you can go into your journal entry and under treasure hunter it will tell you the general area that the image on the map is in.
