Well, even tho ps3 version is 640p it got 9,5/10 on the GFX tab in the ign review

People shouldn't flame like this, what is is about is setting the record straight, some people here suggested that the PS3 version was inferior, all I did was post the IGN review to promote balance.
As for the personal attacks using those tired old labels well that's just typical of this type of individual on NFO and they should grow up.

Its shit test anyhow. Review scores have to be subjectual to their platform. It got 9.5 on the ps3 relating to all other software on the ps3. You can't translate the score directly against another platform, it doesn't work like that.
Wait for the digital foundry platform comparison (they actually do this properly).
I suspect RDR runs a tweaked version of the engine used for ballard of gay tony. If thats the case, xbox runs at 720p native while PS3 is sub HD. FPS and anti aliasing is also a factor. PS3 only outdoes the xbox on sound as it can supply uncompressed 5.1 which the xbox can't.
Again, have to wait and see. Probably later this week.

The games across the platforms will always be different, so better in some areas some worse.
All I wanted to do was set the record straight which had been based on early reviews with a release review from IGN.

This is the 360 score on UK IGN which gives the graphics 9.0, the problem is that US people see a different score according to the US review scores.
In the UK, Europe & Asia (Not AU) we see the UK review which states it's a 9.0 rather than the 9.5 on the US link

I dont want to start anything, I just wanted to get some facts.
So it has been proven that the ps3 version is less perfect than the 360 one?
I actually went out and bought the 360 version today, so now I own both console versions. I will compare them side by side when I get home.....
One thing I noticed right off the bat, the 360 case states it can go 1080p, the ps3 version only says 720p. I tried forcing 1080p on the PS3 game last night but it reverted back to 480P...
I'm not a fanboy of either console (I think both are amazing), but I want to get the best experience out of this game, and right now it looks like the 360 has that....
playing the ps3 version last night, I noticed slowdowns in Armadillo, slowdowns that I did not get on the 360....

Nope the opposite in fact if you listen to anything IGN says, both the UK & AU sites (which cover everywhere BUT the US) give the PS3 higher scores for graphics.

That's deceitful, the 360 version is nowhere near 1080P, not even 720p if you believe what different pundits wrote about the game's resolution.

Now that's what I call trolling.
Gonna get the PS3 version on friday myself (simply because I want to play online and don't want to throw money into Micro$ofts face. Well that and, I don't buy 360 games anymore if I can buy the PS3 version, simply because. You know, with Microsoft being founded by the devil and all).
And just to clear that up for myself.

Because some people still don't know:
No real X360 or PS3 game runs at 1080p. There are arcade games with primitive graphics that can do 1080p and a few retail games, but very very few. The games usually render at 720p or lower, when you select a higher resolution the picture is just upscaled.
GTA IV ran at 1280x720 with 2xAA on X360 while the PS3 version used 1152x640 with no AA and the X360 version still had a better framerate (see here for details http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/grand-theft-auto-iv-ps3-vs-xbox-360-special-article?page=2 ). Since this game uses the same engine I expect the performance to be similar

That's the thing really, I could give 2 shits about the resolution being sub-HD. However, playing last night on the PS3 I walked into the armadillo saloon at night, and it felt like I was getting no more then 15 frames per second. It felt like shit... Then I leave the saloon get on my horse, start turning around and I could feel how low the FPS was even outside of the saloon.
Now I wait for the: "Man, wtf! it's just stupid minor shit, look passed it and enjoy the fucking game"
I installed 2 PS3 updates before I could play the game.... wonder if that could have anything to do with the slowdowns....
I really hope I'm wrong about this, and that I just smoked some really good weed last night that impaired my vision.

We'll know on Friday..and I for one will be quick to make my feelings clear if the game is less than perfect on the PS3.
However, like Reklis I want it to play MP, and don't want to believe three major game review websites could be wrong about giving the PS3 high scores, I am hoping it was Tw1st's updating but like always I hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
ps: that's the end of it as far as I am concerned till after the week-end when I'll put up a small PS3 comparison review.
