A few games, if they'll run in windowed mode, will recognize ALT-ENTER and switch to windowed mode. I've had that work a few times. Then you could change the resolution in the game. No guarantees it'll work in this title though. |
I've already tried alttabbing, doesn't work. Thanks for the advice though. |
Not alt-tab. Alt-enter. Toggles full screen/windowed in some games.

Ok tried again, same shit, looked for the config file to set stuff up manually and its encrypted good fucking job..
This studio needs to stick to Consoles, their PC version of Pure was just as bad, while it was fairly fun, the load times on that game were just fucking insane unless you disabled your AV, and they never even patched it.... :/
Oh well fully deleted now...

no crashes here... get your PC fixed.
Btw this game is limited by 30 fps max (n)
Runs quite nice on gtx280. Anyone noticed any difference between high vs very high except the fps trop ?

games runs smooth and looks absolutely gorgeous here. ya its locked at 30fps but since it's constant 30fps it's not that bad.
to guy who asked what's the difference between high and very high: high has AA off, very high has 4xAA with transparency. very high makes game looks heck of a lot better, that's why fps drop for you. strange you didn't notice huge improvement in PQ.

Nowt wrong with my computer at all, plays all other games fine, just this game refuses to allow me to change any gfx settings without crashing, even tried another crack in case it was iffy, but same issue. One thing i didn't try was disabling multiscreen, but never had to do that for any other game.
The game does the normal switch when changing resolution, but never recovers the display, i just get left with a big black square, and before its said all my drivers up to date. And i deffo don't have a shit machine/.
So yeah not my machine at all, cause everything else working fine here.

Ok confirmed now, it crashes due to my multi monitors, turned that off and worked fine, very strange only game ive ever had to turn off the multiple displays :/

It's really fun to wreck cars who are in front of you ... but i hate it when it backfires

Damn...I have 2 monitors too. You disabled them in your Windows or can you disable it ingame? (Still downloading the game)

if you change settings it switches to desktop then back to the game in a sec. Maybe something gets F'ed up and it just doesn't know what to do when 2 screens are connected
I took a screenshot with high and with very hight. Dint notice a thing actually (ok maybe some AA but thats all). Im using 192x01200 so AA isn't necessary. It's sad that it doesn't have custom graphic settings.
I looked at RivaTuner log and this thing shows me that the CPU is barely used (i have 3.2ghz Q6600). So this thing must be running mainly on the vga?
PS: for me the alt+tab sometimes doesn't crash the game but right now it did... go figure...

Ghehe..not really bad that it runs mostly on the GPU....no worries then for me with my 19 Inch monitor and GTX275 xD

Haven't had any issues whatsoever. Just beat the whole second episode. Runs extremely well on max. A decent console arcade. Nothing special but nothing interesting that can keep my attention confined. I probably won't get to the end of it, anyway.
