Its a fake this is in the Rugby 2005 release nfo :
We were not surprised when the "Jets N Guns" fake was released.
Not that a fake release was released under our name. As we know
fakes are not new in the scene. What did surprise us was how our
modest impact on the scene is enough to enable someone to put the
effort into creating a fake release, in the sad attempt to make us
look lame. Some people have way to much time on their
hands.However what more of a compliment is there, than
an opposing bully of a group trying to release fakes under our
name? Our competition seems to build envious respect.
O and what i say about it :
Respect HOODLUM And f*ck the ones that do the fake releases !!!

Hey I noticed this thread slipped away into group gayness and prevented people from trying this game..
this game is great!! Maybe the graphics are not the best but gameplay is #1! You have so many gun combinaison to try. Also, try enabling gore in the option menu, it's funny lol!
Plus, it's getting release just as I move away in vacantion with a crappy PC

On topic this game is a typical old arcade shooter and might be fun but then again 75% of the posters here are what ? 14 , 15 and prolly never heard or see a shooter like that , since u where all in u fathers binoculairs when games like that where very populair , anyway it might be fun try it I would say.

It's just a fake release to make HOODLUM look bad. The crack doesn't even work. In any case, just download or buy the game (people, it's 20 bucks) if you like a TYRIAN-esque scroller with a shop and upgrades from the official site. The file's only 75 mb.

Wow, this game is really fun! I thought it'd be just a nice little diversion but it's actually the best shooter I've ever played. Better than gradius, life force, raiden, R-type, etc. All the different weapons and ship upgrades really makes this unique and still fun in this age of gaming.

Dunno why nobody mentioned music for J'n'G, but it's fantastic. Composed by Machinae Supremacy, it's nice mix of heavy guitar riffs and samples from ZX Spectrum games. I simply love it.

wow...so many games lately 
this thread reminds me that i downloaded this game few weeks ago and didn't install it yet (never played it befor) with all the other games on the hard drive...i dunno what to play first lol
no complaints though

-We will update controller input with improved options menu (no more fiddling with config file hopefully). However the controller support stays only partial – you can play the game with controller, but menus require mouse.
-The Mac and Linux versions will be ready.
- We are considering some form of upscale of resolution. JnG is an old game running in 800×600, so we try to do something with it, but any solution has its pros and cons, so this is still not decided yet.

THE CHANGES WE MADE IN THE GAME
In the end the controller will work everywhere. In the menus and ship equipping you have to move the cursor around with the sticks. It is clumsy, but it works. Still better than not having it at all. Buttons will be fully customizable.
We added an option to choose, how to display the game on modern screens. You can either stretch the game horizontally to fill 16:9 (or whatever) aspect ratio or you can maintain the original 4:3 with black stripes on sides.
Some minor changes were made to Tetrix minigame and in Atarix we distinguished the symbols so colorblind may crack crates too now.
We made the dreaded race level a little bit less frustrating.
Several other minor fixes and tweaks were made, like fixing the secrets counter and changes to some of the medals. Overall nothing important to the gameplay. |

No changes to res, I think it's 1024x768 or 1280x1024. You can strech it to full screen.
