Is it true that Rockstar patched out the ability to kill nuns in this game?
What I mean is that you can't do this anymore:
. Not sure about nuns, but today i lasso'd one prostitute, put her on the tracks and the train got buggy and freeze one second before roll over her. After that i try second time and the same thing happened again. @_@
And i do not have the achievement.
muhahaha, I got the achievement before this BS. But it can't be the case if you haven't updated tho.
I'm a PC only player, just asked because I heard about it and it was bullshit IMO.
1. this update doesn't censor the game (bad rumor?)
2. even if some update will change something in the game that you don't like you can always delete it. online play obviously requires latest update but for single player you don't need updates if you don't want them.
I've done quite a few of them so far, mainly for scraps or entertainment purposes, but somewhere in the beginning of the game this happened:
I camped out with a few other dudes talking about a flying car. "Cool." i thought. "Must be the Wright brothers or something." About an hour later, i'm trotting across the countryside, only to spot a guy with a leonardo da vinci type airplane (very reminiscient of a certain assassins creed 2 mission) and a question mark on the minimap.
What happens? I gallop straight into the sucker and trample straight over him. Forgot what the break button was. Stranger mission failed, and i haven't seen him since. Any chance he'll come back? Killed shopkeepers come back after 5 days or so but i'm not so sure about this one.

He'll respawn in a few days (in game days, ofc).
RB is the "break" button, btw.

Three years (Abigails fresh grave indicates she died in 1914, John dying in 1911) later after Abigail's death, a now older Jack stands at his parents' graves.
an extra mission is then opened in which jack meets a stranger in blackwater who sets him off towards finding ross. after much searching, jack finds ross and the two exchange their points of view on johns death with ross believing that john deserved to die for his past crimes and with jack believing that ross betrayed and used john. the two engage in a standoff with jack as the victor. the credits then roll.
some people actually missed the ending? seriously how is it possible? one must play games like a robot, without paying any attention. if you spoiled the ending by reading it on the net serves you right, i guess.

my first instinct after seeing graves cutscene was to go to Blackwater and seek out agents. no credits after that cutscene was another clue that game isn't over yet.

Same here, also I was hunting side-quests.

What?! They don't die, well, at least not if you don't shoot them like you would any other NPC.
Jacks goal is to avenge his family by killing Ross, the rest is up to the player.
the game ends with the grown up boy visiting the graves of his mother and father. there is no more missions but I haven't seen any credits to indicate that it's over. also I youtubed the ending and he comes to kill that government guy, how do I get this mission?
It should be. You might have to hitch it first, then if will definitely be your default one (Hitching pretty much means 'Save my horse'). And if you accidentally hitch another horse (or it dies) you can always get it back by using the deed you bought.
no need to hitch or anything. just use the card in your inventory and it will always be your default after this. the only time it can change is if it dies and you take another horse (you'll have to use the card again) or if you had a mission involving riding a horse different than yours.
