i would think a game that cost 100 mln $ wouldn't had any glitches in it, and yeah i know there is already a 0-day patch but DAMN,
considering how many glitches GTA4 has and had you would think they would hire more people to fix those but.... nooooo
The donkey woman is quite apt as this wont be released on pc for donkeys years.
And my bloody ass does any game cost 100m to make lol yea right it's just a bunch of programmers on salaries as if that ever comes to 100m even with voice actor payments of the most famous people on the planet would not = 100m.
It's just a made up figure and just another element of hype around a game to increase sales.
Am I the only one not excited about bugs? I just think it looks stupid and a total immersion breaker.
You have no sense of humor. Chill out, it'll be patched if it isn't already, bugs of this kind are easy to fix, like changing one or few variables.
It's not a case of having a sense of humour at all, it's a big deal. I get what he's saying about immersion breakers, I like to get 'into' my games. If something stupid and unrealistic (in the game world) happens, it kinda ruins it for me.
Most games these days are very expensive, budgets comparable to Hollywood movies are not unusual. Its not just programmers and voicetalents. Ever watched the credits of a game recently? There's hundreds of people working on a title, they need to be paid. They hire entire studios and actors for the mocap stuff. That shit is expensive as hell. And then you have marketing and worldwide marketing campaigns.
