I've set my hair trimmer for 21mm. Never ever had "short hair" in my 37 year old life. After doing this I'll have my shortest hairstyle since I was born. Had long hair (although I "cut" it a while ago the hair has grown below the shoulders already) most of my life, but I'm just sick of it, esp. now in the summer.

Anxiety, nervousness etc.. go to hell. I'm cutting no matter what....

Short hair rox, dont have to style it, wake up in the morning with no bed head, you dont get hot as quickly. Your gonna like it Very Happy

21mm isnt that short imo.. I just did 9mm and thats semi-long considering you are trimming, plus mostly you have to trim it short 3mm-9mm for it to look the best.

Unless you have a weird head shape, just go all the way and trim as much as you can. You won't regret it.

I always cut my own hair. I do it 2-4 times a year down to 6mm.
It costs 30euro/37usd to do it at the barbershop here, so I never go there.. :\

€30 for a simple haircut in Norway? I knew things were expensive in Scandinavia but this takes the biscuit Scratch Head

And to the people that thought I should have gone 6-9mm: this is the first time in my LIFE that I've EVER had short hair (except when I was born). I've had normal to very long ever since my teens. To me this is almost like shaving...

I've spent half the day fondling my own head btw.. daaaamn it's nice... Laughing

Thats like what my hair was like (well a lil shorter was mine) when I shaved my head. Thankfully its grown out but its still way to short to do anything.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. Cutting your hair in Scandinavia has mutated into some luxury business.

I live pretty much in the middle of Tønsberg, so prices are fairly higher than most other places - aside from Oslo.

I stayed in the U.S for a year and I didn't get a haircut either. Not because I didn't want to get one but because I heard from many of my friends that 1: it's extremely expensive relative to Turkey (I pay 4 euros for both beard shaving and haircut) 2: They fuck up your hair and can't give you the haircut you like. I have short hair right now, just like Frant's.

I shave my head with hair clippers as short as I can get it. Haven't paid for a haircut in years.
