So, when my friends come over and want to play one of my FPS's they always have to turn off the inverted controls, and ALWAYS ask why I always play inverted.
I've always been curious if the people that don't play FPS's with inverted controls happen to invert their controls when playing a flight sim |
I always use inverted mouse when I'm playing a flight sim, never when playing a FPS. But it sometimes gets kinda wonky if there's a mix between ground and air combat, unless there are different controller settings for aerial and ground vehicles, like the BF series.

I used to play inverted, since I got used to it from Retal and TFX. Then I stoped playing flight games, and slowly droped that habit and now I only use inverted when playing flight sims.

Ever occured to you that you could buy them? It's not like the games are impossible to buy, quit whining about there not being a pirated version made available to you.

They have stated that so far the sells have only covered 75% of the total costs.
With the crack on, I'm afraid that they won't be able to cover the investment.
Maybe it can generate more interest for the sequel. I hope that will be the case.
The sequel is not official confirmed, but it was already told to the community, that there will be one, probably at the end of the year.
But their biggest trouble will come from SoW: Battle of Britain, if released this year, as it is supposed.

@Dunge
Nothing like HAWX. With simulator settings, this is quite good. There are also lower settings to make it more arcade-like, if you are playing with a pad.

Stink for them.. but sadly they cant really blame piracy on this one .. (if theres been no crack untill now and its not more than 100% yet)

After having a look at the official forum, I have to say I am ashamed I bought this. So apparently, nothing has moved on since a few months ago that I played it - still no dedicated servers, no mission editor - just DLC DLC DLC and now this sequel. Their reasoning for not doing anything - they ported from console and the data structure can't support dedicated servers and a mission editor. But the sequel, magically, will have all these. Don't know what is worse - that they are lying their asses off (anyone who knows a little about development knows this "reason" is complete bullshit) - or that they were retarded enough to port something which cannot be extended at all (if we believe their "reason"). And how did they build the original missions and the DLC missions? By wanking their dicks perhaps? Because it is impossible to make a mission builder/editor - the data structure doesn't allow it...
So fuck them, fuck their DLC and fuck their sequel, they can shove them where sun don't shine! Certainly hope they go out of business for their lies ("It's in the TODO list, stop asking about it" ).
