i had to reinstall after the updates as it made the game so laggy and glitchy audio, without them it works fine

Game is OK, there are few things that drive me crazy, the game pretty much holds your hand, the cars are not very realistic the damage system isn't that impressive the graphics are alright but not the best the screen shots definitely looked allot better than it did maxed out on my PC game ran fine with really no lag that I could notice.
The power are ok but could be more powerful, after playing threw for a few hours the game got pretty boring getting new cars wasn't that exciting like it is in other more realistic games, it pretty much just throws new cars at you every time you win.
No customizing system for your cars or controls and the sound on the cut scenes is pretty jacked up the voices are so low I can't even make out what they are saying. overall I wouldn't buy this game but I would pirate it to play it for a day or two definitely not anything to be excited about if you like racing games I would go with something else this is more of an arcade game.

btw did any one of you experienced problems after the game update. I patched the game and now after racing the menu system is in slow mo. FPS is only 6. The game works fine tho in the races so not a huge problem. |
Yea, but the game must have more then X360 controller support, i use my x360 controlls when i play x360, not PC, the same way i use PS3 controll to PS3 ,by the way x360 controller sucks for PC

...Whaaat? How the hell do you figure that? Ergonomically it's perfect. Build quality is outstanding. Simply put, and not just MY opinion, it's the best joypad ever developed. And it works in windows natively AND supports the majority of games with zero configuration.
Unless you're on some sort of "It's cool to hate" trip, like most of the fucking internet these days.

I don't own a console. In fact I haven't owned one since I bought a Wii for the missus. She got bored with it after a month, we sold it on.
I'm saying the 360 controller is the best (in mine and countless others opinion) on the market, for PC or console. No need to be pissy about it, tbh.

Personally, I prefer the ergonomics of the 360 controller... with the feel and responsiveness of the PS (1, 2 or 3, take your pick) D-Pad. If the 360 one had the Sony D-Pad; it would be the ultimate gaming controller.

I agree with you..game is way too easy. When youre at the first place the only thing what they do, is planting those Thunder power-ups in front of you -.-

Yeah... its not hard, but the fan gates and scores are a pain in the ass. S/S detonator events was difficult... let´s say... in a hardcore way, but these fan fuck thing really piss me off.

... if the game is to easy change the difficulty to hard.
I'm playing at normal and I'm having hard time finishing some of the races at first place. Usually when your at 1 place the AI starts to shoot you with everything they got.... quite entertaining.
btw is there a career mode only? dint find any single player mode where you can select a track etc...

Yup, you can always re-start any race you've taken your luck in anytime.
As for difficulty level... I gotta say that easy IS easy, but normal sometimes can be a pain in the ass. If you choose your car unwisely you get beaten up by AI like lil' white panda bear :/.
Multi is awesome, though. It's so exciting and time consuming that I wasn't able to detach from my X360 controller until I got level 8. if anyone is willing to play online, friend-me-in: qrdel69. :]
Great game so far, so much more fun that Split/Second (which I'm not saying is dull, but rather repetitive, and... Ridge Racer like  )

On keyboard i think you're supposed to press 's' on default layout ( though i haven't used keyboard in-game so far ) , and using the controller with layout 1 you gotta keep down pressed on the d-pad and press the fire button ( 'A' on the xbox controller )

Anybody can tell me how to get split screen to work with a controller ? I allready got the controller working but the button to join a split screen doesnt seem to work. Remapping the buttons in xpad also doesnt work.
