well in a 2d video with 2d display frames it looks "amazing"..as it looks like your looking out a window.
much the like full wall murals you see look GREAT in the sales pictures on walls..you see them in person they are "meh' flat and boring..

but in real life..it would only be awkward looking..a moving "scene" but without any depth, in no way convincing it was an actual window.
would be like having someone with a big TV pressing it against the window from outside wiggling it around.
no different that watching a scene of the bridge on your TV..just the screen moves around when you move..

now make everyone coming in your house close one eye before looking at it to lose depth perception..then it might be worth the cash.

edit:
also just thought..no 'true' angular displacement of objects..say you had a scene of trees outside your window..its a video file.
you move way to the left..the alignment of the trees wont change..just the area your viewing..so that would look very awkward.
2 trees that almost line up..no matter what angle you look at.they still line up the same.

@Ankh, I didn't try to insult you in any way mate. I have a different perspective on this matter. I live in a poor country, even our rich people are upstarts and the poor try to be like them by buying 150 euro Diesel Jeans (and so forth) by monthly credit card payments whereas they earn merely 350 euros a month. This was a chance to make them feel better and important and rich by buying it via monthly payments again and put a Bosphorus bridge view (Villas are like $50 million there) on their suburbian windows'.

Your status is different than mine. So you may disregard whatever I said above.
