the stutter this fixed was not the mouse stutter... i play with a x360 controller anyway, sometimes the game would payse briefly for 2 seconds, and in the shop it took 10 or more seconds to browse it!! now its all instant, and no more 2 sec pause while playing. also i played with mouse a little and didnt found any problem with it.

Add to the fact that the game was cracked on the date of the EU release and before the date of the US release and you are winrar. |
Yeah, they got kapwned. And some crack-related problems made it worse. Reminds me of the titan quest crashes, till RLD fixed their shit.
uniloc failed hard

Spoiler: |
Taking "Recruit" as class and keeping with it allows you to select Veteran at the next playtrough which is basically a combination of the soldier, spy and tech class from the sounds of it, on the other hand you can't specialize in any skill properly (Above rank 5.) I think and you don't have any pre-set or customized skill so they all start at zero, on the plus side you can take the Recruit dialogue option to get two extra perks that improve AP score a bit and add XP I think it was.
|
That and playing on hard mode should be a nice challenge, AI tends to be a bit inactive and inaccurate at times though, heh.
(I had no problems with the trial/tutorial tests and scored above 100 on each of them and the bonus objectives earning several ranks of respect for all involved employees and the hate of every guard in the building it seems, particularly the dude whom I shot in the nuts with a tracer round and I'm hitting on his girl now being rank 6 / liked with her so that's going all according to plan, next to get all others up to higher rank and then end it with a massive gang bang or something, haha!, kidding, I'll just exploit them.)

Just because he's an idiot doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong about this one. I agree with most of what he says about combat and gameplay in general. Just because it has plenty of good dialog choices and a lot of abilities to research and advance, doesn't make it a good game. Gameplay is awfully clunky, and that is what matters most.

Well, you have to admit, the technical part, kind of sucks, (I'm talking here about the turning the camera which results in stuttering problem, and some animation issues), but for me it doesn't mean anything, I'm having a blast with it, I have waited for a long time for something so immersive and diverse.

I agree it could do with more awesome, like a jack bauer like hero, some quicktime events and a more linear path to make it more accessible and quick to pick up and play.

@Epsilon
You can try to troll me as you want, but it won't work with me.
And if you say that the only way to get a good game with good story is through shitty execution of a console port with awfully clunky gameplay, then indeed we are in dire times.

Funny how many companies release games before fixing the bugs, all because they have some deadline due to money constraints. Then the game gets crap reviews and no one buys them, even if they release a patch later to fix everything, it's too late by then.
Spending another month on testing just too much. Low on money, so they release an unfinished product which ENSURES that they lose even more money on lost sales. Brilliant.
Typical capitalist thinking. No regard for tomorrow.

The funny is they have delayed this game for technical reasons, and this is what they come up with?

@iNatan
Of course it won't work with you, didn't think it would. It was sarcasm. You're correct in your assessment that we're in dire times though, the best games I've played recently have been indie games and not AAA.
I've come to the sad realisation that I'm not in the target demographic of AAA games anymore.

Look past the animations and graphics, see it as a RPG more than a retarded shooter and you have a good game.

wtf is going on with the reviews?! gamespot gave it a 6/10...
Most of the European outlets rate it in the 80s. The german onlinemags like it especially.
i've been playing it all day now, i really like it. Has its quirks but theyre excusable.
Those corporate dimwits expected a Third Person Shooter or what?

OMFG the stuttering is KILLING the game, im sorry but i cannot play it at the moment, the stuttering/jittering is just too much for me-it was giving me a headache, i might check it out on x360 *demo* that i d/led thru the week, but gods balls, obsidian sort that shit right out.. and this is in no way crack related... its retail/steam
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth
