the stutter this fixed was not the mouse stutter... i play with a x360 controller anyway, sometimes the game would payse briefly for 2 seconds, and in the shop it took 10 or more seconds to browse it!! now its all instant, and no more 2 sec pause while playing. also i played with mouse a little and didnt found any problem with it.

Add to the fact that the game was cracked on the date of the EU release and before the date of the US release and you are winrar.

Yeah, they got kapwned. And some crack-related problems made it worse. Reminds me of the titan quest crashes, till RLD fixed their shit.

uniloc failed hard

Actually (Light spoilers) "Recruit" is basically the "Freelancer" class but with absolutely no skill points (Freelancer you assign them yourself, rest is either tech, stealth or combat though not as linear.) but as Recruit you do get the Recruit option and by using it during the intro you won't exactly make any friends but it'll give you the Green perk or what it's name was. Smile
(Think it was either bonus XP or extra AP, plus the Veteran benefit later on)

EDIT: For Crossfire and micro-stuttering perhaps UT3, MassEffect or GoW .exe would work.
(Or any well optimized SLI/Crossfire profile like FarCry2 or Crysis though it's the same engine so might work better with those than other games plus being able to force AA.)

Whats the recruit perk and veteran benefit do exactly?

That and playing on hard mode should be a nice challenge, AI tends to be a bit inactive and inaccurate at times though, heh.
(I had no problems with the trial/tutorial tests and scored above 100 on each of them and the bonus objectives earning several ranks of respect for all involved employees and the hate of every guard in the building it seems, particularly the dude whom I shot in the nuts with a tracer round and I'm hitting on his girl now being rank 6 / liked with her so that's going all according to plan, next to get all others up to higher rank and then end it with a massive gang bang or something, haha!, kidding, I'll just exploit them.)

Still stutters for me

SKIDROW crackfix did fix camera "twitching" which always happened with original crack when something was loading in the game.

.

But shutter that happens with less when average frame rate, when using mouse, is still there.

Luckily, it doesn't affect me anymore. With just forcing normal AAx4 & AFx16 with 4850 at 1280x1024, I'm at 60fps most of the time, so everything plays smooooth. Very Happy

Stealth is no good because the enemy AI is so unpredictable and spotty, not to mention the useless camera and poor graphics make spotting enemies ahead of time difficult, and the complete lack of hiding places negates the idea of sneaking around.

Just because he's an idiot doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong about this one. I agree with most of what he says about combat and gameplay in general. Just because it has plenty of good dialog choices and a lot of abilities to research and advance, doesn't make it a good game. Gameplay is awfully clunky, and that is what matters most.

Well, you have to admit, the technical part, kind of sucks, (I'm talking here about the turning the camera which results in stuttering problem, and some animation issues), but for me it doesn't mean anything, I'm having a blast with it, I have waited for a long time for something so immersive and diverse.

I agree it could do with more awesome, like a jack bauer like hero, some quicktime events and a more linear path to make it more accessible and quick to pick up and play.

You can try to troll me as you want, but it won't work with me. Wink
And if you say that the only way to get a good game with good story is through shitty execution of a console port with awfully clunky gameplay, then indeed we are in dire times. Sad

Funny how many companies release games before fixing the bugs, all because they have some deadline due to money constraints. Then the game gets crap reviews and no one buys them, even if they release a patch later to fix everything, it's too late by then.

Spending another month on testing just too much. Low on money, so they release an unfinished product which ENSURES that they lose even more money on lost sales. Brilliant.

Typical capitalist thinking. No regard for tomorrow.

Of course it won't work with you, didn't think it would. It was sarcasm. You're correct in your assessment that we're in dire times though, the best games I've played recently have been indie games and not AAA.
I've come to the sad realisation that I'm not in the target demographic of AAA games anymore.

Scratch this.
I need to remove forcing AA, since it leads to bug when dialog options don't show description.

Forcing AF works properly.

Most of the European outlets rate it in the 80s. The german onlinemags like it especially.

i've been playing it all day now, i really like it. Has its quirks but theyre excusable.

Those corporate dimwits expected a Third Person Shooter or what?
