I remember you said something fairly similar about The Battle for Middle Earth in respect to Rome: Total War - and one gets the idea you based that opinion on the press blurb and amazing screenshots they released as well.

Nope, I never said that BfME was better then Rome. All I argued was that it doesn't need the realism of Rome to be a good game.
Of course I can't say what the finished products will be like, but I based that statement about Rise & Fall on the videos i've seen so far. I could easily be wrong though.
