I never got it to work. Got some odd error message right as the loadingscreen appeared. I did update the game and the apply the patch + delete that eh...what ever it was named. So no idea why it doesnt work Sad


shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Hm, works fine for me. I target an enemy with 'U' and holding down Insert will keep the camera on that target.

Worked in the demo, it's working now.

thats nothing... I even managed to make some more runs @ the war chips. Thats what happens when you are flying to low doing a bomb run on a enemy gun ship Laughing The plane was still flyable but I dint make it because I had to to some more gun runs and that thing just got shot up even more.

Im playing on the custom difficulty level. Its not realistic and its not pure arcade. I have so what "realistic" damage effects and some more "sim" settings turned on... I just suck and flying ww2 planes so I have to use some helps.

Some one has any helpful tips how to fly that darn thing? The enemy seems to be like super fast and takes corners like f*ing F18. I just don't get it how to stalk the enemy planes and how to get behind them. The same thing hapened with M$ WWII Combat Flight sim Crying or Very sad

Anyone knows how to make controls work properly by using gamepad and a modifier button? The problem is that when I have let's say landing gear button mapped to the B button and want to map the wheel brakes to LB + B. After prssing this combination the game gets input not only LB + B but also B so when I'm landing and want to brake my landing gear gets up and I crash.

EDIT: Oh and one thing more. Sensitivity settings won't save after quitting the game and it is really annoying to change them every time...

Was enjoying this but finding it a bit twitchy so i bought joystick. Still finding it twitchy.

Been too long since I played a sim. Other than HAWX which doesn't really count. Lol.

Try lowering the sensitivity of the aileron (roll) and elevator (pitch) axes in the options. Smile

You must be using the cockpit or hud camera view to use insert.

Thats pretty much the same problem i've got - only I have a gtx260.

all that will do is make ur enemy kill u quicker Very Happy, unfortunate that the sensitivity relates to how your plane reacts in the air for turn rate on aileron movements..

so its stupid to lower the sensitivity cause ur just hampering ur ability to tight turn in a dogfight.

Well, if you play with a pad, it is almost impossible to operate the aircraft at the air, because the sticks are too small for precision flight. Wink

You can also play with the linearity of the axes to make them with lower sensitivity and then toward the end to return to full. This can also help in some cases.

anyone played this with xbox 360 controller?

i mean i can use the 360 controller, but i can't find a way to change the invert up and down..if i change the up and down , my right left go'es invert..wtf? i want to play it normal..when pull the stick up i just want it to go up and when i pull it right i need it to go right lol...anyone els with this problem?

(i guess it is not a problem but i kinda can't find the right configuration and any help will be a bless:)

Can't you invert on a per-axis basis? If so, make sure to invert only the pitch axis (I think it's called "Aileron axis" in the game).

If you download the last version from their servers, it is already patched.
Still, for multiplayer you still need to have the yuplay to access the leaderboards and invite people to join you.

Yeah well - since ive got mine on steam it was autopatched.

Yes you do need yuplay - but removing the drm was THE best move they could do. Yuplay is no problem

Not a year after release. It's meaningless. You really think they will not put that shit on the sequel?

But my gripe with them was not because of the DRM. They had threads on their forums promising plethora of things, as well as threads asking people what they want to see in patches. They collected all that info, disappeared for months and suddenly appeared with a sequel announcement. Rolling Eyes And magically it was to have everything they promised to have patched in the original. I am sorry to say, but this can be seen a lot from East-European developers these days - make a quick release and then stop support and move to the sequel as fast as possible. And lets not forget the DLC nonsense they had for this. I fear the same will happen with Battle for Britain, or however they call it now. The DLC plans are already well known, so will we see real support? Real mod tools? I doubt it.
