This post is 100% true... I beta tested for them once and they really needed to fix a bug... When the final game was out it was still with the same bug and errors...
Just release it and then we Patch it... Thats the motto of gaming companies today... Sad

There are some major performance issues, but seeing as it's the same crappy engine from Undercover, I doubt they'll ever fix them.

Don't know why people are getting so excited about this one. It's a Korean (or oriental at any rate) game that EA bought after they bombed with NFS: PieceOfShit, one of three products they bought to save the franchise.

Actually, come to think of it, perhaps that's the reason this might be good, EA had a mostly superficial involvement when this game was designed and halfway developed. Smile

How did they buy it exactly, if it is based on the same cities that Underground, Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover were based in, and is using the Undercover engine and is developed by EA Black Box?

Actualy the beta will run from June 2 till June 13 so thats 11 days. If you post info about the beta make sure you post it right.

Still as boring as it was, this is the 4th beta cycle ive been in, and tbh im not impressed at all, they still havn't fixed some of the basic stuff, the most glaring thing is cars STILL DISAPPEAR for no reason at all when in pursuit mode, like wtf, this has been going on since i started the beta..

But meh free game, with micro transactions, not my cup of tea....

Hm, i have a question - How is the cars / upgrades system in this game. I suppose you can unlock them during progress ? or buy them ? And if so - are they permanent or like in the pathetic piece of shit korean bullshit racers which i despise - time limited (like for 7 days,14 days etc)

A friend of mine had an issue where the game ran at something silly like 4 frames per second. On investigation, it turned out the game was taking a screenshot EVERY SECOND and storing them. He deleted nearly a thousand screenshots. Hope they fixed THAT little gem...

Doesn't seem to be available, no.

Just gave this a try, but my god this is terrible.

The engine makes me cringe, runs at sub-20 FPS on an E8400 + HD5870; a game like Shift runs capped at 60 and looks a lot better.

The actual driving is also terrible. This is supposedly NFSU in an MMO form? Fuck no, NFSU has better car handling than this. NFSU1 was enjoyable, but this is stupid. From 160 kph to 0 in a car length = lol. What's even funnier is just taking your finger off the throttle; apparently cars can still completely stop within 2 car lengths by just letting the throttle go Neutral

Complete failure.
