Not any more >_< I set 10GB as FAT32 (for emulated NAND) and the rest of the entire drive as WBFS, so unless you know of a way of resizing a WBFS partition without destroying the data; I'm screwed on that path. Since Windows doesn't recognise WBFS, it won't let me resize without wiping all the data.

You can't reize it, true. You can backup and build it from scratct.

Or better get a cheapass ext.hdd.

That's what I'm planning on doing, heh. Get another HDD solely for PS2 games (shame you can't have PS1 backups...) and keep this one for Wii. As long as I keep the PS3 offline, or if I can figure out a way to connect to that non-Sony proxy, then my PS3 will still be Linux compatible if/when any hacks come out ^_^

All I need now is a JTAG'ed 360 and I'm tip-top.

=Edit=

Aww fuckbeans. I guess I've got a choice; keep my PS3 offline forever, waiting for a possible hack if one ever turns up, or just think "fuck it!" and go online. Seems Sony has now blocked all proxies, so there is absolutely no way of connecting to PSN without the latest 3.21 update Sad

Darn it.

No recommended mustplay PS2 games which work with the emu without problems? I can search gamerankings or whatnot, but I'd really like some confirmations that the game(s) work(s) with the emu. A couple of games should be enough for the summer vacation.

Muramasa: the demon blade? Monster Hunter Tri if you're into that sort of game, it works great.

Madworld should work too though I haven't tried it myself.

Lol, somehow I thought he asked for Dolphin games. Laughing There's way too many PS2 games to list but I'll list a few.

Persona 3 FES or 4, each of them is about 60-70 hours and work with PCSX. Tales of The Abyss, any other Shin Megami Tensei game, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Valkyrie Profile2 (very CPU heavy I think), Odin Sphere, Radiata Stories?(No idea how it runs or if it even does at all), Grim Grimoire, Rogue Galaxy, Okami, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

I'm mainly into RPGs so I dunno too much about other types of games.

If anyone can get shadow of the colossus running smoothly on the official beta released a few days please share your settings and maybe a HD video on youtube. Biggest problem i have is withe sound, either its stretched , and when i turn off stretching it simply skips.

I dont know if my 3.3ghz is simply not cutting it, but if someone gets to run it super smooth without any issues with his 4.0ghz cpu then i at least know i dont have to fiddle around with the settings and just wait for an upgrade.

It's definitely your proc mate. I sit around 50-60 (NTSC copy) on my E7200 @ 3.6Ghz .. any lower and the game chugs real bad.

To be honest mate, I REALLY doubt SSE4 vs SSE3 would show much of a significant difference.

I just tested Fallout:BOS,the game is definitely Unplayble. the game stuck on cut-scenes,you can press and skip them quickly and get in-game,but when you do that, the game texturas are ugly and disorder. half of the screen is covered in multicolored square.beside that the game works on Full speed for me without the need of speed hacks at all.
I'm uploading screens as we speak.

Yep, same issue those games have always had. Skipping cutscenes to eliminate the crash, but you're left with broken graphics :/ Every time Gabest releases a new GsDX, I hold my breath for some fixes... but I guess it's just not a priority right now.

I'm going to try with Software mod,I will report back soon.

Update: Even Using Software mod cut scenes still cause the game to stuck,in-game graphics is better and square free, but still shitty, and when I tried to talk to someone in game, the game has been crashed. I think they PCSX2's team can fix the game, but it will still take some time...

he now claiming that he his very close to make the game fully playble,it's a great news,
it's also can fix more games with the same problems. he will also will try to fix Star Wars: Rogue Leader series and Star Fox Adventures soon after he will fix the game. those games known to be the most hardest to fix then the most of the other GC games.

Just for the record, I'm playing Silent Hill Origins on the last PCSX2 beta release 0.9.7.3113. So far so good! No glitches, sound is working now. Very Happy Btw, they have implemented Hardware Anti Aliasing feature but unfortunately it's not working. Crashes when you set it up above 1.

Still waiting for Dolphin devs to fix Skies of Arcadia.. the audio and graphics are broken, as well as suffering from random crashes when entering/exiting a menu. I'd play it on my Wii, but I don't have a GC controller or mem card.

*chuckle* Mate, I know all about it. There is nothing I don't know about emulation .. I follow it like a hawk, constantly checking for new versions and working revisions, testing compatibility with various games. So believe me; when I say "the audio and graphics are broken" then THEY ARE BROKEN Razz The SoA hack doesn't fix anything except a handful of missing geometry errors.

As for the DC version, yes and no... it has issues, but it is playable. I want the GC version simply because it's the expanded DC one with lots of new content.

Speaking of geometry issues, at least the PCSX2 team fixed Wild ARMS Code F. Bit late though, considering I have my PS3 to play it on.
