What is the best, or the top best, Audio Output plugins for winamp.
Atm I have instaled the standard Nulsoft Direct Sound and the Asio Output and I have problems with both.
The Nulsoft direct sound (when using with my 5.1 system) has a strange volume shifting bug that keeps on randomly lowering and upping audio volume during play.
And the ASIO one works fine with my 5.1 system but keeps on stuttering when I use my headphones.
Since it's kind of an annoyance to keep changing back and forth through plugins, what would you guys say is the best winamp output plugin out there?

Yes..
Any suggestions for alternatives? (keep in mind my 3 TB Mp3 playlist easy accessable in Winamp's media library)

Go with foobar2000, very powerful and flexible, lots of plugins (though I guess you don't need many of them), and a media library.

WinAMP here. Never had any problems, low memory/resource footprint, plugins for every format you could need, more-than functional media library, great sound quality. I never use anything else. Still, I don't use 5.1 so I'm not sure how WinAMP plays with that.

i use 5.1 . its like 2.1 but with 3 more speakers
