It's out on Gamersgate as well, similar in terms of options and performance to the "new" prince of persia with that open-world game a while back. Smile
(Since mid last-week actually though without a unlock key.)

It's pretty good so far, can't find anything to complain about but it's apparently a bit on the short side which is unfortunate.
(Gamersgate uses these blue-coins as a reward so I didn't exactly buy it this time instead I used those.)





EDIT: Actual options aside from volume and such are set via a separate launcher and via the launcher (Which doesn't autolaunch games anymore since the x.121 revision of it.)

(Quality presets of either low, medium and high plus large texture size and widescreen mode and a general resolution and language selection bar.)

Well naturally, I disliked the leather armor appearance so I used those extra character unlocks instead.

EDIT: Seems it was answered already.

EDIT: Framerate is usually over 70, enemy count ranges from two - three people to about ten or so at most from what I've encountered so far, that's just the tutorial chapter however and those are just fodder that dies in a few hits (Shield guys somewhat annoying but manageable if you save them for last then kick them down.) only just started the proper game experience without the hand holding and tutorial explanations.

Unsure about the underlying system but the launcher remains more or less the same so Skidrow might be able to crack it depending on stuff like triggers and such.

Speaking of triggers I tried a hacked 119 and 117 launcher revision before the key had been released but the game will just crash unless it is the 121 version of the launcher which has support for Prince of Persia.
(If nothing else it would have given a look at what would happen when the game is launched without access to that server data, probably stuff like unprogressable rooms due to puzzles not solving or super strong enemies / weak prince.)

Also just found something to complain about, prince is still very much bound by the camera and some challenges do get a bit frustrating as he jumps depending on how the camera turns so the direction you press might change due to that failing the jump or killing him.
(All the 3D PoP games have had this problem unfortunately and it usually works but might take some trial and error when pulling blocks or moving across poles and such stuff, this particular instance is the quick jump room or what to call it.)

I see that g2play isn't featuring this game yet, not even as a preorder. On Gamersgate it's too expensive. I think that us in Europe will have to wait untill the 11th.

I actually tried to read Boundle's comments (I like his way of trolling to be honest) but too bad they were deleted. Even his messages in other peoples quotes were edited. What, my screens are appearing on other places? (Aside from where I posted them myself.) should have taken better ones then. Very Happy

I'm in the bath house area now, just got trough the first additional power and accompanying puzzles so I'm making progress with the game again.

EDIT: Images.





EDIT: And yeah texture quality isn't exactly great even with the inclusion of higher resolution textures as a available option but they work.
(Larger foes like Elephant-Man and that Bull-thing are pretty blurry and some environments could do with a touch up, looks better now when in the palace again instead of those darker underground areas.)
