Written by the same guy as the scans posted previously, but seems to be a bit expanded. Don't know how much new information is there though.

Awesome stuff, thanks loads mate <3 Like Dezz, I'm growing more and more psyched every time I read some new info. Can we dare to hope this really WILL be a proper Deus Ex title?

It’s a sneakier, prettier, more violent Deus Ex. That doesn’t mean it’ll be better than Deus Ex, but just seeing a game that’s comparable gets me buzzing.

Razz ... the hype is raping me as well!

Some of the most Iconic games for me in my youth was System Shock 1 and 2 and of course the Deus X series. They changed the FPS from just run and gun into something with brains.I eagerly await this sequel.I hope it is done right.

And I am still far from finishing my first playthrough of DE1... I guess I'll have something to play until this comes out Smile

By the way, there's more stuff incoming from PC Gamer. It seems they have an entire week of Deus Ex 3 previews planned, including one on visual direction... be it cell or cel-shaded Smile

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Will Not Feature Multiplayer

Quote:
Speaking to Eidos Montreal's Game Director Jean-Francois Dugas, IGN Games confirmed that the teams' recently renamed Deus Ex: Human Revolution will only be a single-player experience. The prequel is set to arrive on console and PC sometime later this year.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a single-player game only. Being the first project out of the new Eidos Montreal studio, and staying true to the Deus Ex legacy, the development team wanted to focus purely on the single-player experience to ensure we delivered on that front.
Dugas goes on to comment that although Human Revolution shares some similarities with Quantic Dreams' Heavy Rain in terms of "choices and consequences," the overall game experience will be very different.

And who asked for it? Razz

you don't understand
when your game features a multiplayer segment
you get more support from sony or ms (read as lower costs in licensing fees for media that your game will be on)
having none doesn't mean a bad thing
but if you would had a issue with a hardware don't be crying about it (final fantasy 13 or the last remnant are good examples)

I think he means console games having an MP segment get better support from the HW manufacturer. Which I doubt is true.

God damn those screens look awesome. Eidos seems to be taking this shit seriously though. Seems like good news for the Thief 4 game too. Ugh, I'm starting to get really hyped about this. Must refrain. For there is still a chance for major fuck ups.

First impression of the E3 presentation. Seems to be pretty good.

Quote:
According to DeMarle, you can go up to any non-player character to talk to them, and can even obtain side quests that way.

Quote:
One thing is for sure: Human Revolution has a gritty look, exemplified by the seedy nightclub Adam approaches, called The Hive.

Quote:
Adam plunges a sharp weapon through a guard's midsection in another disgusting-looking takedown move. According to DeMarle, takedowns are always contextual and not scripted, so the takedown you perform conforms to the circumstance.

Quote:
The build we saw wasn't extremely polished, but it made it very clear that the development team understands the franchise and wants to stay true to its roots.

PS. highlighted some bits I find most interesting.

All the previews and interviews so far have been VERY promising. Seriously, dare we hope that this will be a worthy successor?

It does indeed look very promising. I expected nothing from this one and TFU2, but both look amazing tbh. Now if only Mafia2 can stand up to the huge hype, it'll be great. I might even buy these games.

Crying or Very sad I promised myself to completely avoid the terrible effects of hype, but it was a fail!
