excellent news, but it will probably take a while till all the important cydia apps are updated for os4
@jahlux:
ios4= iphone os4
and yes, you can unlock 3.1.3 (05.11.07 baseband is the "problematic" one in the newer 3GS iphones iirc)

Any way this update is going to happen without destroying all my current apps?
I'm still on 3.1.2 because I'm under the impression I have to do an official update first, which will blow away all my apps from Installous...

EDIT: I broke down and went for the pineapple, currently running jailbroken 4.0 3GS.
