saw 5.6gb repack on my local torrent site.. it had lower quality audio and video + ru/en languages.. compared to 6-8 in original release

I got plenty for my ETW over time on steam was wondering if there been any DLC of elite units from JB or others, normaly there is by now..

ah right, so nothing much to worry about missing overall if had everything one could get, i never used the elite troops much in ETW i had either.. Ill stick with as it is leeched and be happy with that..

How do i install this damn game?
After pissing about for ages swapping the disks during the install, i have the Napoleon_Total_War-Razor1911 btw.
After installing, not properly, i have no short cut or nothing?
I'm using windows 7 ultimate.
Is it alot better then empire this?
Ryzen 5 3600 cpu@3.60 Mhz.
hyper x 32 gb ddr 4 memory.
Msi Carbon gaming pro ac motherboard.
Evga 600 psu.
Msi Armour rx 8 gb 5700 Graphic card.
Ps4 Standard 500gb.
Lg 4k 42 inch tv.
Oculus Quest 2.

its alot more polished than ETW but i think they are applying fixes soon to ETW probably all the good code for ai etc from napoleon tw
no problems installing NTW either, no desktop icon no, why do u expect one?.. run game from exe in root directory..
If you followed the install instructions there should not be a problem..
All i do is run napoleon.exe

I highly doubt they'll fix ETW. It took them like a year to just fix up the AI a bit.

well there is a patch due right? so maybe it will be the one to cure its issues.. now they got ntw working fairly right... prob more script stuff to change anyhow id guess.. have to wait and see ...
its deff in their best interests to fix it up to meet ntw state anyhow.. cant believe they wouldnt, that would be just pure blindness..

Ok I've installed the game correctly and installed that runtime program as well as installed the direct x from the dvd.
Now the loading screen comes up but will not go any further?
Any ideas how to get this to start please?
I'm using the Napoleon_Total_War-Razor1911 version.

Patch out, unsure what it does no changelog posted yet.

EDIT: Ah so it adds support for that new DLC.

EDIT: Yeah it does appear to be like that, patch3.pak at 360 MB for the new content and such, patch2.pak updated to be compatible (Previous DLC) and language_*.pak for the new localized content for it.
(Patch.pak appears unchanged but patch3 might include other fixes along with the new EXE.)

Napoleon: Total War Move Into The Spanish Peninsula
SEGA has announced that Napoleon: Total War – The Peninsular Campaign will be available for PC exclusively via Steam in Summer 2010. This expansion pack includes a brand new campaign map featuring 32 controllable regions divided amongst 4 different factions. In addition to France and Britain, Spain has now been added as a playable faction for this campaign for the first time in Napoleon: Total War. As well as the new campaign, The Peninsular Campaign also features three new agents; the priest for Spain and Portugal, the provocateur for Britain and France, and one unique agent for the Spanish faction - the Guerrillero, as well as a host of new multiplayer features.

when they will realize its not campaigns that makes total war what it is.. its freedom.. big world.. many factions.. a sandbox.. since god damn kingdoms ( which at least were molded together in moding community ) total war been going sideways, focusing on small campaigns instead of huge world map and general world domination goal..
90% of mods ant 99% of popular mods focuses on making game bigger and better.. not creating extra campaigns.. those 32( zones ) 4 factions makes me puke.. how hard is to stick with same map, increase it size, remove moding limitations, and call it a day, everyone would be happy..
do people actually buy those dlcs?

the game series is dead for the old fans, nobody cares anymore. the game was a flop looking at the steam stats, people playing empire a lot more cause it had limited modding that kept it alive.
creative assembly is a rip off , stay away from it

That's Steam Reg Edit via the Cs.Rin.Ru forums, launch Steam to update the .Blob file(s) then open them with this utility, click on ContentDescriptionRecord (The largest container in the file.) and you can then browse all upcoming "subscriptions" (bundled titles and deals.) and upcoming titles that Steam has added, usually includes a lot of upcoming software and stuff not yet announced so it's pretty useful to see what's being planned.
(Arkham Asylum 2 for example and Operation Arrowhead to name two.)

whats the status on NTW with latest updated and any DLC, is it all playable?
I know the razor version with sid files had a crack directory to copy over, but not followed it on RU lately.. JB will know he knows all
