Is it gud idea to put i5 750 on H55 mobo??

Though both have LGA1156 socket but why the price of H55 is much cheaper than P55 boards?

H55 has less PCI-E lanes, so running more than 1 videocard won't work. They're designed for the new i5's that have a graphics chip in them. P55 is just faster on some fronts and has the added PCI-E lanes Smile

No idea, just Google them to find out Smile

Biostar is really uncommon over here, so I barely know anything about it. With MSI it's just like with Gigabyte or ASUS: some boards are amazing, some are terrible, most will be somewhere in the middle.

Biostar are rubbish, when the cpu isnt doing anything it lowers the speed, makes it go up and down on things you do and no option in bios to switch it off.

That's a normal feature on all the boards.
And you can turn it off, it's called speedstep (why waste power when you don't need it though?)

It's standard behaviour indeed.

Intel calls it Speedstep, or EIST in the BIOS.
AMD calls it Cool'n'quiet.
