Anyone been beta-testing this one? Can't wait for the final to be out. Hopefully in the beginning of the next year.

I spoke with a Product Manager from Propellerheads. He Told me "in A few weeks."I guess it will be March.

I tried reason when it first came out and wasnt that impressed.
I personally find Cubase easier and more powerfull.

Doesnt Reason have sequencing abilities, you can enter notes, make patterns and then chain them together into a song?
Reason, Fruityloops and Cubase all have the same goal, to make music, they just go about it in different ways.

Cubase is an audio & midi sequencer, reason is just a softsynth with minimal sequencing abilities. it's better used only as synth and with cubase or pro tools with rewire

I'd buy it but £300 is just too much for something I could prolly download in a few days. I've spent £200 on audio software before, and prolly would do the same for Reason, but that's my limit. If I had 300 to spend it would go on a new hardware mixer, or maybe a condenser mic, but not a CD in a box. Yeah I suck but hey just being honest.

You can do arrangements with Reason 2.5 ya know, or any other sequencer, and there's plenty other sources for samples.
