Yeah but what I cba to play/make the ISK does my plan above seem feasible? eg. buy a few copies to keep me going timewise via buddy invites. I dunno if I wanna get into grinds and shit and, like all games I play, I tend to come & go.

they are lapse with the updating the time for me i done 9 accounts so far and got 3 showing on my buddy inviters lol.. petitioned away!!! stupid fucks, how dare they... good thing is u can show buddy invites in account page and says updated to full etc so they cant say no really its there in black and fooking white..
I might do what u just did yond just buy a few more keys on new steam accounts and keep them for later

hey, just pointing it out...I play eve, just think its funny.
its not THAT bad, but some people come from WoW expecting colorful mounts, and epic raid boss battles..and see eve like the video.

you will quit after week... hardly makes a different.. how long you have to play if you been into such games as eve you would been playing last 3 years..
at some point game becomes a job.. after couple of the days you realize all pve missions are same.. then you will try to pvp just to find out there is no real newbies pvp ground..
then you will go to low sec , wander around for 2 hours.. till you finally see someone.. and that someone will 1 shot you , then you quit, come back next day.. get same deal.. wander around in empty space with noone to kill.. just to get killed ..
but if ur into spending hours and hours into eve, getting 2-3 accounts running and playing for years till ur pro and all ur skills are up.. so hop in.. but there is that incredibly dull period , which starts around 1 or 2 weeks after you started playing eve.. in which you pretty much do nothing but grind and wait for skills ;/
is that why if they want to be pvp orientated they can start from those 2 weeks in right away?
Your painting eve like a mmo on rails its not.. but your always full of doom and gloom with ur gaming reviews (no its not honest its just ur missery showing)
your not wrong on the edging on the patience side of things, you goto be to start with as u got learning skills to get trained for the most part. but eve is for those that want to head somewhere and not worry about being able to raid after botting the char to lvl 80 in 4 days..

Why do people insist on spreading this kind of nonsense?
Eve is what you make of it, if all you do is run missions or mine, of course you'll get bored. Its a pvp game, get to know people, fleet up with them and head low sec. Or form a corporation and declare war on other small corporations. There is no shortage of fights for new players if you know where to look for them. And if you don't, just join the freakin militia or something. Also, you need to pick your fights carefully, you can't go up against a battleship in a frigate and expect to win, its your own fault for getting popped...
its actually fucking annoying as they are targeting amarr space, which is where I am mining right now just as well those 30 day extras came along so I can sit back without worrying of not makng some isk too much..
killing miners in high sec is lame: whats the point in suicide ganking in high sec on bloody mining ships lol.. Go to 0.0 and have a bit more worry that you will even make the first volley..

the highest sp character on one of my accounts is not training no more.. there in you now fail to give me my sp back from ur day of annoyance to the character which I am actually training..
