Hey guys is this game a sequel (or in any way related) to that other PoP game that came out in 2009 (or was it 2008)? Or is this a fresh new story?
I noticed Prince mentioned Phara (or Farah?) in his speechs, and the only Pharah I remember is that female donkey from PoP4 (PoP2008), soo.. Ubishit as always full of shit.
Aslo, according to PoP1 prince already HAS the ability to control the time (that's why bad things like Dahaka happened to him in WW), but as you can see in FS.. oh well, the plot part in PoP between series always was pretty bad. Who cares.
I must admit, it's nowhere near as bad as you guys made me believe...
I must admit though, I did enjoy the 2008 Prince of Persia a lot more, mainly because of its style and amusing dialog between the prince and Elika. Both games are very simple, but this one is just a little lifeless. Combat in this one is the worst part, naturally, it is clearly there to just waste time and make the game appear longer, and its overtly simplistic mechanics are not helping at all. Level traversal is good, actually, the strongest point of the game. Overall, I'd give this one 7.5 for some nice setpieces but lackluster combat and short play time bring it down, unfortunately. Just imagine, an open world set in several cities in Persia, Assassins Creed style. Ah, the possibilities.
@Kein
The mentioned Farah is clearly the one found in Prince of Persia 4: The Sands of Time (and subsequently in Prince of Persia 5: The Warrior Within and Prince of Persia 6: The Two Thrones):

Lol, legion of fanboys even for this game.
i bet they found there a lot of deep philosophical shit in Pop's plot, lolz.
Well, actually the game provides several excellent cues for reflection which have kept the philosophers' minds busy for centuries, such as the inferiority complex, the insatiable desire of power and the immortality of soul.
Found a place where you can make infinite amount of EXP: in SOLOMON'S HALL, after an epic battle with two juggernauts and titan, you need can jump around and kill as mane mages as you want. Just drop down at the end of trial and start again (skeleton and vulture gives you nothing tho).
Since I haven't played here on my licensed copy i dunno if it's a game's bug or crack's one.
Just bought The Two Thrones special edition off Amazon that includes the first 3 games. Just want to make sure, do they all work on Win7?
Don't know about Win7, but if it's the uncensored version would you please PM me. If it is, I'm gonna buy it myself
I don't think it is, even if it was, the Reloaded crack I would be using to avoid Starforce reverts it to the censored version anyway if I remember correctly. I have never finished the first two games, that's why I bought it.
m...guys, i am now at the Observatory level and in the very beginning, i hang on one lever and it cause the big mechanisem to stop and to release two solid water handles and also there is a liver that come from the floor, and this is my issue..in my game there is no lever who come from the floor..anothere crack problem?
here is the youtube video of this level (no need to see all of it, my above description is from the 3:00 minute from the start of the video and i put it so you will have better understanding of where i am )
so as i said there is no level with torch on the top of it:(
Honestly how can people defend Skidrow after the stolen values from AC2 and now this? Its OBVIOUS how they both got released AFTER the private cracks (values for AC2) where made.
Except the crack for PoP was nowhere near working, they aint stolen shit for this crack or their Splinter Cell Conviction one. Jesus. Some people just can't stop bitching.
They only would needed a lead where to start and thats what they got. It should be easy for a crackersgroup to crack the game once they know where to start.
lol you don't know shit.. that counts for protections in 1999
nowadays protections are complete different.
and by the way there was no crack out for Splinter Cell and Skidrow did released it.. its pretty obvious that they can crack this drm now.

Exactly, and on top of that, it seems that Ubi have upgraded their Drm for POP, so I guess that's why it took some time to crack it compared to Splinter Cell which "only" had the the "1.0" version of the DRM (like AC2).
This drm is like the fade protection in arma, its custom built and integrated into the game so theres no 1.0 or 2.0 version, its just a matter of how much code is handled by the ubisoft servers
But it took nearly a month to crack the first game with this DRM (AC2) and then came Splinter Cell which was cracked really fast, but then came POP and again it took nearly a month so that is why I think Ubi upgraded their protection.
I just assume that this is the case as it sounds plausible.
Eh, controls were a little finicky even with a 360 pad. Nothing atrocious, but I often had trouble turning directions smoothly on those frozen swing poles.
