Turd? Lost Planet is shit...

Despite the uninteresting story, effeminate characters and slow animations, Lost Planet was rather decent in my opinion Smile . I'm obviously talking about the original Lost Planet (PC). =)

Bispoo needs to shut the fuck up. TIA. (lost Planet was pretty good, but got boring way too fast for me, I couldn't finish it)

This here is just a good fun shooter game, nothing special. What is considered "generic" for other games, works pretty well in this one, also fits in with the Transformers franchise Very Happy

I have a weird problem...

Everytime I play, I have a rather annoying and huge "Physx > CPU" text in the upper corner.. is really distracting. I can't show you this because everytime I take a screenshot with fraps, the text disappears o.0

Is there a way to remove that text?

It's an overlay from the PhysX software. Do you have an nVidia card? Open the nV CP and choose "set PhysX configuration" and then the 3D Settings tab, finally uncheck "show visual PhysX indicator" option.

I have an nVidia card, but I don't have that option... but now I've updated the drivers and the text is gone...

Thanks!

Sorry if this has been posted.

Check the below link out for the FPS Unlocker. My game runs so much smoother now. Very Happy Now I hope someone would unlock it for Split Second as well...

OMFG! THE WAY IT´S MEANT TO BE PLAYED Cool Face

The only con is that i can´t rename the exe to ut3.exe to enable AA, otherwise the trainer doesnt work Sad

Funny this is, it also fixes the alt+tab crash -I believe i was not the only one with this issue.

just started playing it... ehhhhhhhh

so far im failing to see exactly what the 9 or 10/10'ers have been seeing in this game... its a third person arcade shooter... its not bad or anything, but i havent seen anything special so far... in fact if anything, its making me miss playing alpha protocol...

hopefully it gets massively better by half way through... perhaps its transformer fanboyizm thats elevating an ok game into an zOMG AWWSUMM one?

Yeap... decent gfx, sound, controls, etc etc but nothing innovative about it.

I started playing it yesterday, but as a non-fan of TF I found the game extremely repetitive and uninspired, not to mention the innovative factor, which is almost below the zero.

well good to know im not alone in this.

it doesnt even do arcade shooter that great... the levels are incredibly small and restrictive (walk down corridor, have fight in room, go through only open door, walk down corridor, rinse, repeat) - wouldnt be so bad if the combat was atleast fun... but like i said... im only a short way in, hopefully it gets better...

i dont even know if im going to finish it... think id rather reinstall fallout 3 and try to play that again.. hopefully get properly into it this time round...

Imma just finish it with 60 fps -since i´ve been whining about that since it was release lol.

Btw... any site I can buy a key from? Or anyone who wishes to sell his? The game is still locked in my region, the app simply disappeared from the list.

i played this game for about 30 min yesterday. so far i'm not hooked or pulled in as much as i thought i would be since i like transformers. it's slightly entertaining for the time i've invested in it. it doesn't seem to have any depth. Sad

i'm sure i'll force myself to beat it one of these days. Smile

Was anyone with ati cards able to enable AA with the trainer? I mean, when renaming the exe, the trainer doens´t work. Is there a tool I can use to force AA without renaming twfc.exe to masseffect.exe?

Probably because (just like me) you were expecting a mediocre rip-off of the original PoP saga instead of a well made revisitation. It's all about the hype imho. =)

Imho the game makes the most fun in coop and ofc multiplayer. Maybe I'll buy it when the price lowers.

@ixigia sounds reasonable to me.

@m3th0d2008 i think you right, with 2+ friends coop must be fun and online don't need extra special graphic or too complicated gameplay to be fun.

i finally completed this game. it took a little over 6 hours to beat. i struggled to stay awake while playing it. Smile

what a snore-fest. there's really no real depth or replayability in this game. sure the boss battles are exciting. sure it has transforming robots. sure it has some of the original voice actors from the cartoon series. but is it fun? no, not really.

granted, it's nice to play as optimus, megatron, starfire, starscream, and others. it's just not enough. this one had a lot of potential but ultimately, a missed opportunity. next! Sad

I would question any site that instructs you to download the game from torrent or rapidshare.
It also states the key will not work with steam.

It doens´t need to be a steam key, you can just change the serial in the registry and play.
