What if you change the control layout ? From the emu's options ?

I don't remember what I did here. What if you don't win the race ?

It just drops you back into the waiting room and makes you try again, so no real biggie. It's a bit more of a pain later when you're trying to get the Chocobos up to S Class, having to race again is blearrghh

It should be possible... tough but possible.. to still use the endurance cheat on FFVII. You need L1/L2/R1/R2 and SELECT, right? I'm sure you can do that easily .. but you'll need super elastic fingers to do it.

Remap "UP" on the dpad to L2/R2, hold the standard L1/R1 with your fingers (or tape Laughing) and hold select whilst pressing X to run.

I just tried testing it myself.. and OUCH. You're going to need Dhalsim's limbs to accomplish this, especially as you'll still need to STEER your Choco in the race. Another solution would be CWCheat and either get an "infinite Chocobo stamina" cheat, or use CWCheat's built in "macro" function to map all the buttons you need onto a single PSP button.

I thought it was just R1+R2 , I thought that R1R2L1L2+Select was like psx soft reset

Oh! I was getting two codes mixed up, my bad! R1+R2 increases stamina during the race, and L1+R1+L2+R2 increases speed. Oops. Well in that case, it should be effortless to do this. Just hold the PSP triggers and race =)

(PS1 soft reset is all shoulder buttons + start and select)

No probs, any time! Don't forget to, temporarily, remap the buttons. IE; remap PSP L-trigger to ps1 R1 and PSP R-trigger to ps1 R2, or whatever Smile

Probably a stupid question..but is there any way to connect the Psp to PSN to use that app that lets you play games with other people via internet without having a PS3?

I'm not sure, but you can make an account for PSN and then you need the PSNLover plugin (on your psp) to be able to pass the firmware version check and connect to PSN. Then you can play online I believe.

You can also use a plugin and connect via usb to xlink kai and play online, but it's harder to make it work on win7 x64.

Yeah that's what i've got..does it work though throughout different psp firmwares? I think the only reason it works with Ps3 is because the ps3 will act as a hotspot that then connects it to the internet.. I'd imagine once the PS3 gets hacked "enough" they could emulate that hotspot into a linux firewall but I doubt that's anywhere near the top of their priorities.

Which game do you wanna play ? Can't you just play through PSN ?

I'm npt sure what the deal is with PS3 and AdHoc Party.

Not really sure which game..Maybe pokemon connect with a friend of mine while not both having to be at the office or whatever..

EDIT: Damn..Had to go in with...3 player limits ( Forgot stupid Aeris had to be with me).. with no Big Guard or White wind..just had to rely on on Barrier-All / Haste-All / Cure 2-all / Life-All.. Got a tad bit nasty , and yes I wound up using Life-All quite a bit.. VICTORY!!!

p.s. Play with me Sabin Smile

Did you ever tell us if you were using a full 4CD Eboot or what? If so, did the disc swap work ok for ya?
