well, i already bought some discs,let's check. But i don't know what's your problem guys, my problem is i put the dvd in the console, the playstation2 logo appears, and then the screen stays black,and the console makes some funny noises.And nothing more,it's stupid,even if it's a media problem,the group that ripped it should have tested it,i guess. Man these last 2 days sucked, first this crap of problem,no GT4 out, i download it,and doesn't work, dammit!! How many more GT4 do i have to download that don't work?Lame groups,they don't have time to test the games??

yeah man,but the problem i have is the same problem everyone has, i only found one guy in 2 forums that run the game,and that's u .No i have a normal chip,not upgradable,but i'll wait for someone to come to a solution,thanks for your help,dude,i just burned one phillips that cost me 4euros, at 2,4x and nothing,the same happens

Hehe.
Maybe it is a chip issue and a patch is needed to fix compatibility with some chips.
If that is the case some anonymous guy will problem release one sooner or later.
It's too bad that I cant test my 3 working copies on another ps2 with another chip.

i have fifa street working with the swap method, all you need is cogswap loader and a high TOC game like Devil May Cry.
1.Load up swap magic.
2.Swap for cogswap loader (or load it from the memory card if you have it)
3.EJECT the disc once its loaded.
4.Put your swap magic disc in once it reads it eject it. (Dvd Version Disc)
5.Insert High TOC game.
6.Once you get PS2 DVD ROM press x to see Use Cogswap.
7. Use swap method, put in fifa street and press X.
this method didnt work on my rebuilt image but did work on the normal release iso.
(The High TOC game Must Be An Original)

i don't have a original game that has a high toch like 4.35
they are all like 4.21 gb
so i am doomed and must still wait for the patch

use the swapmagic dvd disc as your TOC disk ..i think its 4.36GB

Just so you guys know there is no patch needed. I had gone mental and accidentally ordered the wrong DVDr. Because they were white topped media I couldn't tell what type they were, turns out I was using Ritek G05 dvd-r. Ordered some of my old faithful (still dont know how I managed to order different discs in the first place though) G04's and burnt at 4 speed, worked perfectly...

there is a patch needed :S for people who uses swap magic this game WON't work.

hey pallebrun when u use dvd decrypter do u make a MDS file from the Tools menu or do u just go to Mode -> ISO Write and load up the .iso without selecting the MDS cos over at dvddecrypter forum it says select the MDS file when burning an .iso file.
how exaclty did u burn fifa street with dvd decrypter step by step??

do u know if a V7 PS2 can read a +R blank cos i wanna try burning fifa street on a +R, but want to know if it works before i go and waste anymore blanks. i know my PS2 doesnt read -RW.

I'm not really sure. I have a slight memory though that my little brother had a v7 and +r worked on his machine, but like I said, I'm not sure.

I'm using DVD-R and Verbatim DVD+RW in my V7 without any problems. Compatibility seems to be down to the qualty of the disc though.

justjermaine just be paitent DVDRick is in progress of making one. its not going to kill you if you wait just a little bit longer. Why dont you try FIFA Street (c) EA Games*PAL* *FULLDVD* by PRECISION.

The release by precision if you gonna unpack it;s also a high toch. So i dont gonna even it try. It's exactly the same as the protocol release.

pallebrun just burnt it onto a Sony DVD-R and still no luck. its the same problem that JackaL-PT was experiencing. ive burnt it about 5 times and all the disc have gone into the bin. next week im going to buy a Verbatim DVD-R and give that a go if that doesnt work i guess im gonna have to give burning the game up.

It's seems that Im the only one with this problem. Game works fine beside that it freezes when im trying to create a player. Same problem on with PAL and NTSC.

there have been many people saying that it doesnt work even at ps2nfo. ill give you a link anyway so if u wnt to try it u can
EDIT: i made a basic site where u can download the patch
EDIT #2: people have tried patching it a different method ts PS2NFO and they are saying it works the instructions and patch is at the basic site i made for all the people who cant download it from PS2NFO
