I've been thinking about it, what would be the point of making another shit-gen title, if they already have FIFA Online for free, which allows everything that a regular FIFA does? Makes no sense. So it makes me somewhat optimist... Smile

BTW, ixigia, did you see my troll thread there? Laughing

Sure, but there's also a third possibility: we could have, for example, a "mixed nextgen version" with the same graphics of the console versions but limited in terms of complexity in the physics and AI...but I believe it's better to remain optimist Razz

Leo's post: 1 + 1 = 2

Response: I don't care if it's 2 or not, we have our own result! End of.

I just played some Fifa Online. That game seriously sucks.

I cant remember the console versions and thus I have some questions.

Are the players in the console version able to receive a normal pass properly? In Fifa online they ALWAYS need at least 1.5m of space, because they NEVER just stop the ball, it always jumps from their foot. That alone makes the game garbage to me.

Do players make passable passes? Here they are inaccurate, sometimes the game just chooses a direction for me that isnt even close to what i pressed. Passes are often too slow and in fact just don't even reach the target player.

The game always designates a player that is supposed to get the ball, sometimes that person is not the closest or ideal person for the job. I often have no control over said person, for whatever reason and he just slowly goes for the ball or waits for it, even if that ball will be intercepted that way. Sometimes that player sprints for the ball which I also cannot stop (so he doesnt waste stamina).
Is the console version the same in this regard?

Fifa Online, as well as all the FIFAs released on PC, is based on a 7 years old engine made for the PS2, while the actual console versions of FIFA are running on a 3 years old engine expressly done for the PS3 and 360's "next generation" hardware. Needless to say how much better is the new engine compared to the old one.

A fair comparison:

Fifa World Cup 2010 (Console)

Are there any soccer games that let you play with historic times?
eg: brazil from the 60s,

or better yet allow you to pick your own dream team from different eras and different countries and play againts other teams?

Pro Evolution Soccer?

You have clasic teams (like brazil with Pele and argentina with Maradona, don't know the years), and you can make a new team with any player if you want..

And of course with patches/mods/wtv you can do a lot of things Razz
